Your shirt is superb!
it is!! I love everything from that store.
I cannot tell you how much I respect “I am doing this, but I don’t feel qualified to explain it, so here are some resources.” 💜
And the finished product looks great, btw!
@@HouseHooligan Thank you! I by no means am an expert but I do wanna show folks that these projects *are* doable and not as scary as they can seem.
Ok, I am in
Yeah!
They're so cute! Love a pant. I feel like people are so afraid of making/fitting pants.
Also, thanks for starting this sew off! Just discovered it, but 100% will be participating soon 😃 All about tackling UFOs.
I hope you did tackle those UFOs!
These are so cute and I love the fabric!
Those are great pants! The fit looks so good! Haha Scrap Monster burning fabric...to check for content? I love vests, so I vote 'yes please' on that!
Scrap Monster still wants to burn things.
@@bookhoarding Relatable haha. He's just helping 😁
The pants look great! I often struggle with fusible interfacing. The method with the highest successrate for me is to put the iron on and let it sit there for half a minute, then move it. Not guaranteed to work all in one go, but it works better than when I move the iron back and forth.
Interfacing is such a painnnnn. I like your method
Your pants are Gorgeous! As a rule don't do pants because I don't wear them anymore. And it's purely for practical reasons. I have to use a cane because of arthritis in both knees and, when needing to use the restroom, it's easier to lift skirts than fumble with pant zippers and a cane.
Also, I totally get your frustration with the interfacing. It can be a total b*tch. And I'm not going to tell you that you do it wrong. But if I could tell you what I do to iron on interfacing, maybe it will help you. First I put my iron on the hottest setting for the fabric I'm using. Then I Press the interfacing onto the fabric, meaning I put the iron on the interfacing and fabric, and let it sit there for about 3 to 5 seconds. Then I lift the iron and move to another spot a few inches away and put the iron on the interfacing and fabric again. I repeat this until the whole piece has been pressed and then I iron. If this gets me deleted, so be it. I won't be offended.
I appreciate folks sharing their methods over people yelling at creators when they “don’t do it right.” Totally different approaches and ways to communicate info. Anyway, thank you!
