I have been driving for Lyft and Uber since Jan2024, and see this type of reckless driving every single day. I drove by this accident while fire department arrived. Criminal charges should be brought against the Mercedes driver. When will the city do something about this?

You drive at the speed of traffic, if you are to fast or too slow you are a problem. Get into the lane you need a mile before you need it also helps avoid many of these issues as well.

I'm told that they have forced out many of the union people who took pride in their work and cheaper, less qualified employees program the video, graphics, and chyrons into a computer program and the director just presses the spacebar for every change that takes place on the screen, almost like a PowerPoint. Changing a tire is so dangerous on a LA freeway. Continuing to the next exit on the shoulder might permanently damage your tire but it might save your life. I’ve noticed that worn tires are lot more susceptible to flats. Things that can puncture tires tend to end up at the side of the road. So taking corners tightly puts your tires in contact with more of it and a flat is more likely.
I'm not sure what the big deal is, this happens on the L.A. freeways 24/7. Every couple of minutes someone flies past you at 100+ mph. And then the CHP pulls you over because he thinks he saw you using a cellphone. WTF?
The blue car was going to pass that dump truck on the right and the white suv slowed down due to a car on the shoulder and the blue car was going so fast iit couldn't slow down and caused that mess..

Things happen for a reason. Unfortunately that SUV got the force of the crash and a totalled car they may not be able to afford to replace but he definitely saved that other person from being killed and thankfully he himself did not suffer life changing injuries.

Speed isn't necessarily the problem. The way you drive is the problem. The faster you drive the. Ore space you need in front of you to stop. And if you're constantly shifting lanes, you need to slow down and still keep 4-6 seconds stopping distance behind people. And you shouldn't be driving faster from the people around you.

This happened yesterday I was on the freeway when this happened. I was shocked to see everyone was okay. It could of been worse that car was driving really fast and weaving through traffic.
I see Tesla drivers driving like this constantly on the 14, often a white one around the same time on weekdays. Then, one day, I saw a white Tesla involved in a 6-car accident. I doubt the driver survived.

That is what the ‘Fast Lane’ is for. - Thru traffic. ‘This driver was reckless, & Just didn’t care’. - I doubt if they’ll be any consequences. That’s why the district attorney(s) should be arrested and charged. We need a new sheriff in town.
This happened yesterday I was on the freeway when this happened. I was shocked to see everyone was okay. It could of been worse that car was driving really fast and weaving through traffic.
I see Tesla drivers driving like this constantly on the 14, often a white one around the same time on weekdays. Then, one day, I saw a white Tesla involved in a 6-car accident. I doubt the driver survived.
Teslas are built like tanks so it's those in the other cars that die while those in the tesla are saying wait did we bump into something laying in the road.

This happens all the time and no police we need more cops I remember growing up there were more cops people were scare to speed because u would get a ticket don’t know why it got cut they make so much money on tickets come on
Come down to the vast number of bad cops costing the departments too much money to settle cases to afford the number on the force and now the ones still employed are getting raises as others retire so even less can be hired based on the budget and in LA they been sacrificing more officers on the roads to play security and bodyguards.
I see aggressive drivers everyday day driving way too fast . Some drivers even flipping others off .
That sedan was driving crazy. Dead space to right side of truck, and still weaving in and out. So dumb.
