so i get a neck taper as well so to start a mullet do i have to wait for the spot i got the neck taper to catch up with the upper part by repeatedly cut the upper part until the bottom part gets to the same length and just leave it until it grows?

Depending on how long your hair is but I would recommend a mid taper for now and once you get it the length you want it then go with a high taper.

I used a styling powder called Lv3. And for the back of the mullet I used mousse called herbal essences. It helps activate the curls.

If you want this haircut and your still in the process of growing it out just ask for a mid taper without the edges and round out the back. And it just depends if you want the top long, his is 1inch long.

If you want a mullet start off by growing out the back of your hair you can always round it out. And still get tapered on the side so your haircut can still look fresh during the process.

If your barely starting out the growing process you can get a mid taper on the side and round out the back, that’s usually what I recommend to anyone who want to get a mullet. That way your hair still looks clean but it’s in the growing process In The back.

His hair is naturally wavy, if you want your like that you can perm it just to give you the wavy look. You can still rock this without the waves 🙌🏽

I've been using this curling cream called Cantu and it worked for me especially since I have straight hair but I got it to curl up and my mullet looks beautiful

Depends on how your hair is right now but what you want to do is start by getting tapers on the sides so you Haircut can still look fresh while your hair is growing. And just round out the back of your hair. Until you’re hair in the back is the length you want.

Yea you can just ask for a high taper and round out the back and just let your hair grow out. It will look clean.

It’s called a crop top I left it 1.5 inches long and added texture. Depending oh how long you want the top of your hair, but ask for texture and it will give it that look.
