but unfortunately for me, as a non nami player, I think this would sound annoying in the rift, especially the weird echo effect in the background

@@Michael.Gunner both coven legendaries (morg and eve) have this echo, and most of the non-legendary coven girls had the echoey voice filter too. its definitely not as noticable in game

I really like the idea of taking champions personalities into account and even exploring themes like this where it’s just a total opposite of what they are typically seen as
I sorta love how multi-directional that first line is.
Like yes, Leviathan can refer to a sea beast.
However, given this is the Coven skinline and she is suggesting sacrifices, this could also mean she is referring to Leviathan from Hellraiser or maybe even the actual Demon Prince Leviathan and so on so forth. It is a name with a lot of potential references and this skin encompasses a lot of them and begs fun questions.

I really love coven's higher old English tongue and expression, fits amazingly into the coven aesthetic. While I adore Evelynn's lustful voice line and naughtiness, now Nami sounds so powerful and ready to get the hell into the rift. Amazing job Riot, would love one day to see a coven Legendary Lux skin as well, I think she would be a perfect fit 2!! Keep bringing more coven skins 🦇

Start play full ap Nami with luden or night harvest and you see what she can do when she hit whole enemy team with her R and her W + One auto with E + electro can anihilate in 1 sec everyone what is not tanky doesnt mater if you are 16/0 draven, 12/1 rengar or 8/0 fiora you just disapear XD its not that hard get penta with full ap Nami if you want it but if you do it your team kill you for it XD

The reason I love Coven Nami is so much is because it gives another layer to her character, it makes it look like "This is Nami entering her villain arc". It feels like this is Nami now, turned from who was once a kindhearted and loving goddess of the sea to now a ruthless, corrupted being because of how the world treated the waters, hunting sea creatures as if they were nothing but prey and that is what evoked Nami to take revenge to those who destroyed her homeland. It genuinely fits that feeling because so far she was always cheerful and somewhat shy. That's why Coven Nami is so good. I genuinely love it when skins somewhat start to contrast from their base design/model's personality and concept, because it makes you go that "So this is what this champion would be like in a different scenario, in a different universe." Something like that.
