    The 25" no doubt would be great, but I absolutely love the solid feel my 21" currently provides. The engineering that went into this product is awesome! I hope you guys dump some serious funds into marketing these better!

    You guys need to put a mechanism to engage the transmission from the handle with at least 3 speeds, have at least 2x2 wheel height adjustment instead of independent and make the handle more ergonomic in a way that mimics a steering wheel grip position and include a side discharge.

      I agree, the 2 speed transmission control is a deal killer for me. Maybe they will improve that. Some folks out there complaining that they are too fast even in low gear.

    I do plan on purchasing this mower. Only two problems, no dealers sell this mower close to me and in in my second year of owning a lawn care business. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these, I'm so tired of Toro junk. I purchased a new Toro 22" in March and it has been nothing but trouble since.

    I've got 2 30" turfmasters and they run the same Kawasaki engine and with them being twin blade I find them underpowered. Great on flat surfaces with dry summer grass but bog down and lots of cleaning when grass is damp or long. Also don't like hills much. So I can see the power would show as improved on this lighter machine so three questions. First is what do they way? Second is can they side discharge? Lastly I observed in the video that the deck has an opening to the belts from underneath. Does that not allow lots of grass to get up there?

    • @ybravocommercialmowers3956
      @ybravocommercialmowers3956  Před 7 lety +1

      Hey Kevin, all great questions. I will give you the answers based on our 25" machine as that is the most popular. 1.) The 25" weighs right at 127lbs 2.) Yes it can discharge, we offer a separate discharge accessory that attaches where the bag would go. 3.) I guess some grass could accumulate in that area overtime, but so far we have not had any issues regarding that manner. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions

  • @pspillow

    It seems to be oriented to bagging... Any owner opinions on the mulching capability?

    • @mrkwns24
      @mrkwns24 Před 3 lety

      Terrible at mulching. The grass would clog up at the back where the mulch plug is set in, and several times it seized up the blade on my Ybravo mower. The last time was so bad that the engine started smoking a lot. I sold the machine and went back to my trusty Honda HRX217. Mind you, my experience was on short, thin turf; never mowed an overgrown lawn with this machine. Save your money.

    • @JesusIsaFlatEarther
      @JesusIsaFlatEarther Před 7 lety

      Ybravo guy, thanks for the reply Is there a video of this mower rear discharging tall grass? There's a video of a Honda 216 rear discharge, and I can't see why I would want my shoes and pants caked with wet grass, when a side discharge opening is what's really needed. I and most people I know don't bag grass. I live in the northeast where people fertilize their grass. When it's 8 inches tall, mulching isn't a time efficient option. I currently have the Timemaster that hates tall, wet grass. I want to mulch a 100%, but I have to face reality and use the side discharge. So that makes the Ybravo not a viable option, unless I make my own opening and door.
      I'm looking at the Sears 28 inch mower to replace the Timemaster, but i know if Sears sells it, it's not professional grade and I'll hate something about it. And it's beyond me, that so many manufacturers have forgotten the need and benefit of side discharging. If I tell you 10 things I want in a mower, you'll build one with 8 and hope I buy it. And in case you've not noticed, the blogs about lawn care often mention the need for a small, wide area mower like the Timemaster that will handle mulching tall/wet grass. Your direct drive, single blade mower is 20% bigger then a 21 inch mower, which is a step in the right direction. But with no side discharge, it's a step back, and I"m back to square one, of still looking.

    • @JesusIsaFlatEarther
      @JesusIsaFlatEarther Před 6 lety

      Duke, I bought a Craftsman Pro Series 28 inch self propelled to replace my Toro Timemaster and I've been very pleased with it. I didn't buy the bagger option with it, because I use if primarily for ditches and trim work, and have yet to use the side discharge because I'm lazy.
      It's not as fast as the Timemaster and probably doesn't give as good a cut in ideal conditions. BUT, I rarely get ideal conditions and the blades spin in the same direction and don't clog up in heavy grass like the Timemaster, which is why I got rid of mine.
      The Troy-Bilt is the same basic mower, but I believe it comes standard with a bagger and I don't bag.
      The Craftsman comes with an attached stripper roller, where I had to buy a separate one for my Toro. So cost wise, it was $700. vs $1,200 for the Toro. I keep the Craftsman roller bungied up when I do ditches and let it down for nice lawns, which works much better then the Toro striper dragging behind the mower.
      My only concern is, if I had a 21 inch mower, I could get a 48 inch mower on the front of my trailer instead of having to settle for a 42 inch.
      If I wasn't 59, I'd be looking for a faster mower, but in small areas, you'll never notice it doesn't have the speed of a Timemaster.

    • @JesusIsaFlatEarther
      @JesusIsaFlatEarther Před 6 lety

      Duke, I had to order my Craftsman online, and it wouldn't let me order it without a bagger, so I had to call to order, I wasn't letting them make me buy a bagger because their system couldn't handle an order without one. . I can't believe how expensive mowers are, I paid $800. for my first car. I didn't get the 65 T-Bird, but it too was $800.

    • @JesusIsaFlatEarther
      @JesusIsaFlatEarther Před 6 lety

      Duke, I would have wrecked the 65 T-Bird if I had gotten it and my Dad knew it, and made me get a Bel Air with a straight 6 with a top speed of 73 mph, or so the cop said.
      The Toro Timemaster was my first personal pace and I was impressed. I previously had Snapper's, but they always wear out, but a great mower when new. They get way to much money for the top of the line 21 inch commercial Snapper.

    The only thing that's keeping me from buying this mower is the inability to control the speed I mow at. I have a feeling that low gear is too slow and high is too fast for a lot of people.

    • @ybravocommercialmowers3956
      @ybravocommercialmowers3956  Před 6 lety +2

      Hello Irishman, that is a great point. On our machines you do have the ability to "feather" the speed on our mowers to create your perfected speed. Example: If you have a deck or patio you need to get under, you can pull on the bail slowly and make the mower creep under the "careful" spots. I hope this helps, we will make a video on this concept very soon
