    I would love to get an updated review when you've tried them out for a period of time! :)

    I've used this type of spur before and I like them. I think it is better when they are a little offset to the inside so the toe doesn't have to turn out so much to apply them.

    Yes, I want to see what you think of them after riding with them for a while. Thank you!

    Thanks for your first review! I thought of using them, but unfortunately they're not allowed yet in national competitions here in Germany. My horse (very picky mare) could like them more than the pointet ones, but I think horse and also rider (i'm no professinal, just showjumping for 115cm so my motoric skills are not that fine🤣) have to get used to these or back to the other ones, so that its difficult (for me) to switch during competition season. Perhaps I give them a try in winter season....

      That sounds smart. Then maybe I had time to make my second video about them as well🙂

    You should make a video where you ride Western and do calf roping, maybe barrel racing..... or I think to more your speed..... try Extreme Cowboy Challenge 🤠

    Såg att du ska tävla denna helgen (25-26 september) strax utanför Falkenberg. Om man ser dig är det okej att gå fram och ta en bild med dig då? Ska nämligen också dit under lördagen☺️ älskar dina videos och du är en stor förebild

    Would love to know your thoughts on them after you have tried them for a while. I am considering these because I would like to not have to turn my toe so much to make contact and really want it to be gentle for the horse.

    I think that the design is a bit worrying. Maybe I'm a bit sensitive, but I would be scared getting cought in something between the part closest to the foot and the rounded part with those two big holes.

    • @riderhugosson
      @riderhugosson  Před 3 lety

      do you think like branches and stuff?

    • @MasqueradeeM
      @MasqueradeeM Před 3 lety

      @@riderhugosson More.. Everything you can get stuck on ^^ Branches, things on walls if you ride to close... Regular spurs are closer to the foot with the rounded part, but when this one is sticking out and has holes in them it just feels like it's easier to get caught in stuff. :)

      Perhaps that is why it is plastic? I would break under less pressure and it looked like there was a small screw to attach the ‘spur’ piece so you could replace it. Maybe there will even be different attachments?

    How would you describe the difference to conventional spurs?

    • @riderhugosson
      @riderhugosson  Před rokem +1

      Slightly different feeling and quite mild. But I like them.

    • @maggiepie8810
      @maggiepie8810 Před rokem

      @Pontus Hugosson I saw them and thought that they're designed to eliminate possible welfare and safety issues, which unfortunately sometimes come with spur use.

      They're from a German company named Sprenger. Maybe you have to search specifically for that.
