When will the feature come as a firmware upgrade for the Hero11? Since Hero11/12 have the same processor, that shouldn't be much of a problem, right? Most of the new features should also be possible in Hero11 with a firmware upgrade!
@@chatdeau_ Well, I bought the Hero 11 last year and I definitely won't buy the Hero 12. This is neither sustainable nor does it make sense given the few changes. It is doubtful whether this will ultimately generate more sales and not annoy customers, as there are now enough comparable products from the competition.
Why is there not a preset name choice called "HDR" Also no name choice of ultra slow mo, full frame etc. Sure I can make these presets but I now need to call them "custom". The 11 had the option to call it full frame or ultra slow mo but they removed those titles in the 12?? Why? Custom 1, custom 2 custom 3....tells me nothing when searching through my presets. Don't get me wrong...I love gopro...I've had every single model since the 2 except for the max...But why remove something as convienent as a descriptive preset name?
I think because it acts a little different than an HDR output. This version of HDR blends it in camera and in frame. If you export the video in HDR then you do get More of it but even if you export it normally you still get it. Versatile. (I could be completely wrong about this though)
@@Bellaire_Isaac true HDR has to be enabled .. you don't get the effect of HDR prerecorded , atleast thats what i know from watching real HDR videos on youtube Edit: the reason behind it is because the Monitor or TV have to support HDR and the video has to recognize that and use this feature of monitor or screen i could tell the difference HDR is WAY more vibrant and detailed than any 4K regular video
From what I know the HDR mode has some effect but just not the full effect on an SDR rendered video. I think we saying the same thing. But as far as the original question that I totaly forgot to put my 1 cent in on (because thats all my opinion is worth lol) I think it is there in the first place for 2 reasons, at leas that I can come up with off the too of my head. 1. Gimmick 2. Future value and some people will start to use it now. I want to learn how
When you get a 2-4 k tv buy one with hdr. Big diffrent, it’s all you need the color pop and watching 4 k film for the camcorder capture that present their the best I’ve seen the evening low light walk in the city bring so many diffrent color you don’t regularly see
Taki ten HDR jakby go nie było. Kiedy włączam HDR w Samsungu sprzed czterech lat to mam realnie inny, lepszy obraz, tutaj nie widzę prawie żadnej różnicy. Pewnie w następnej wersji GoPro będzie lepiej. Na razie to taki "pół HDR".
Hi I have a GoPro Hero 12 Black . My settings are 16:9 | 4k | 30/60 | SuperView. HyperSmooth On, ProTune: Sharpness Medium, Color Natural, ISO MAX 400 or 800 everything else its default . Bitrate high color 10 bit My problem is that I find it almost impossible to record a video that has no noise. If it is a bright sunny day and there is some darker area in the frame, I see noise in that area. also owned a GoPro 5 black & Hero 8 black a few years ago and never had this problem like that in my Hero 12 Black GoPro Should fix this probleme ..... soon Updates for camera is to late 5 month rest and gopro 13 will be released and its predesor have not geat working great have a lot o big problems ...... that not good we west our money in this products that have a bunch o problems

I bet that over half the people do not watch their 4K or 5.3k videos on their big screen as they do not know what cables to use and how to set up their TV. What are all the useful tips how to get the most of your GoPro 12 black if you are u able to watch in the video quality it was recorded? Yet you have no instructions to these anywhere! Please correct this mistake with step by step directions of connecting and setting the TV up to fully enjoy the GoPro video playback! Thank you! Gabor

Gro Pro made us fools, when gave that crap excuses for removing GPS and another things, saying that was for save battery 😂😂. And the price more expensive. I WILL NEVER BUY GO PRO AGAIN for that excuse. Are you thinking that we are lDl0ts?? People, buy another fair brand. Don't spend you money in that company that made us fools. Buy DJI, Insta360 or any other brand. Never Go pro. BTW: HRD you can have by FILTERS in every câmera!!

Can presets be added with the Max Lens Mod 2.0? I couldn't add/create one with the lens on.
