She passed in 85 but we still would go to donaldsonville through out my teenage years in the 90s and visit her siblings. When those white racist demons blew up the levees in 2005 and drowned black children,they also drowned the black family structure. I haven't seen my relatives in over 20 years because of the long distance departure.
