Summary: Aaron tries to make a fresh start by moving into The Woolpack following his not guilty verdict -- but he's still wrestling with his demons and remains on a self-destructive path. From the outset, Diane is unhappy that Chas has allowed Aaron to move in, as a share in the pub's accommodation wasn't part of the original deal when the feisty brunette bought into the business. To make matters worse, it's not long until Aaron is at the centre of drama at the bar when he fronts up to Carl threateningly, continuing their long-running war. Chas stays loyal by sticking up for Aaron during the row, but Diane is in no mood for the mechanic's behaviour and orders him to get out. Still angry later, Diane gets tough with Chas and tells her that the arrangement isn't going to work out and Aaron has to go. As Chas worries over her son's future, Aaron's erratic behaviour is only just beginning...

Aaron's acting up because he feels abandoned, like he was when his mum left. He doesn't feel good enough anymore

These people are SO freaking selfish! Doesn't anyone have an ounce of compassion? Love Chas sticking up for Aaron.

I know Aaron is a moody guts and he gives people a hard time for, well, nothing. But people could be a little less hard on him. He's lost the love of his life, and he's had to make the biggest decision of his life at only 19. Not only that, but he lost him in the worst circumstances. And he's had people calling him a murderer for months. Give him the benefit of the doubt.

Aaron is behaving like a spoiled child, yes hes had a difficult time with Jackson's death but he does not need to take it out on everyone else. And no, I don;t believe he's lost the love of his life, he's only 19 what do you know of life, really ? He has lost someone he felt very strongly about, yes, but at 19 you'll have other people who you'll feel just as strong about if not stronger- I like the character of Aaron but I cannot excuse he ill behaviour-

@@wmperkins25 belive me, what Aaron does right now is nothing. He went through a big trauma! It's just 2 month! I can't even remember the 2 month after my father commited suicide. I was 18 and it wasn't unexpected, but it teared me apart for month! I lashed out, I cryed, I got into self destruction, I rejected any help and I got aggressive. I don't remember what I did the 2 month after that, I was in a blurred bubble of pain and nothing could really reach me. But I know what I did the years after it and I wasn't bearable so many times. I was 18 and had a stable life so far, at least for the 17 first years. I felt loved ond secure and wanted. I was a girl and I wasn't self distractiv before nor have I ever had suicidal thoughts or felt rejected or worthless or what ever. I never had anger issus before, but I bet I was just as bad as Aaron is. Because it's hard. I didn't set the poisen to his lips, I didn't see him die, it wasn't my fault in any way, but the feeling of guilt hunted me for years. It still does sometimes. It's 15 years now. And I just had a little wobble a few weeks ago. So with all Aaron went through, it really is no wonder that he lashes out and is unbearable. How does he act as a spoiled kid? He isn't in his right mind! How could he be? Not just commited his first love suicide, but he forced him into taking part in it. I thought of following him on his dark way, and suicide wasn't something I had never thought about before. So... What do you think did this to a person how tried to kill him self just a year ago? He isn't a spoiled kid. He is on high risc of totally breaking down and folow Jackson on his dark way!

  • @lawrence5584
    @lawrence5584 Před 13 lety +2

@Theatrebird21 Precisely. His lashing out is partly just blind rage at his own guilt and pain, but he's also doing it because he's subconsciously trying to get everyone to punish him, thereby granting him what he hasn't received from the court but so desperately craves.

Rhona's ideal family life includes herself, paddy and Leo. Aaron and Marlon are not part of her plan and she made sure that BOTH of them got kicked out of the house. She is always using Leo as leverage to get what she wants. It is quite disgusting tbh.

I don't understand why people are saying its getting boring, Aarons just lost his boyfriend, who he helped commit suicide, and nearly went to jail! If you remember the previous episodes, it took a while for Aaron to agree to helping Jackson, and now hes dealing with the guilt of agreeing. Hes not gonna be sad one day and be completely over it the next, its gonna take time, and hes gonna have an emotional ride through it all as anyone would if they were in his shoes

Jeez, this story. Frankly I'm tired of Aaron lashing out. I wish he'd have made some deep character progress to not do that anymore, with or without Jackson. It's easy to say someone's emotional and distraught, but that's no excuse for them to go making other people emotional and distraught.

Wow, I'm very grateful that I don't live in this village. With half the people treating Aaron like a homicidal maniac, and the other half all but demanding that he "move on" and "get over it", not for Aaron's good, but their own. And that Carl, Aaron had it on the head, what business is it of his what is going on between his mother and him. What Aaron needs is to get away from this self absorbed village and have some time alone to work through his pain.

You all call yourselves Aarons friends! Bologna. He is suffering, in need of friends and compassion and you all turn your backs on him. The looks, comments mumbled or said out loud only adds more suffering and distancing of Aaron. He is on a collision course of destructive behavior. Get over your selfishness and ignorant thoughts and beliefs. For when that day comes you can only blame yourselves being in the firing line.

I find it disturbing the writers have set Aaron back to his juvenile delinquent attitude despite the "growing up" he has done in the past year. I guess we do have to remember the character is still a teenager though. Come on Aaron, grow up and move on.

@JordanjamesX Aaron doesn't follow any stereotypes, if you know the character you can see thats how he would react to finding out hes gay, how he reacts to what people think about him being gay and how he was trying to get used to being who he is, which is gay. I'm not sure what you meant be no passion between them, its obvious Aaron loved Jackson, and it destroyed him to hear that the man he loved wanted to die, and to bear the guilt that it was he who ended Jackson's life

I know its completely logical that he's behaving like this but i'm a fairly new fan and i watched Aaron's psycho in the closet teen phase already. Couldn't they come up with some other logical way for him to deal with this instead of us being back to everybody being afraid of him snapping. Or at least put him around Adam more. For some reason he's always more stable around Adam

  • @ibisa79

@lawrence5584 Well Chas and Chas are soulmates and he worries about her. Carl is also Aaron's nemesis, he's the one person he hates more than he hates himself. When Chas is in trouble or in turmoil Carl in never far away, that's an Emmerdale law.

@Auron1Roxas2 I think it is boring the Aaron and Jackson storyline because to me it was full of stereotypes. So Aaron has to be the stereotypical depressed gay man? It just seems to me that the Emmerdale writers did not want to deal with a gay male storyline honestly. I did not see any passion or love between Aaron and Jackson. Their storyline just seemed very false to me and had no substance. I am actually more interested in the other storylines but this depressed Aaron storyline is dry.

Such behaviour is totally unacceptable in a civilised society and for you to endorse such behaviour would make you pathetic. Why would you love psycho Aaron? Do you feel it right to behave in such a bad way? There should be no place in society for those who cannot or will not behave in a civilised way.
