Cameron I just came back and watched it again because our NFL season is threatened by Covid. So sad. I live breathe and eat football. Great commercial. I love when they jump in the bed of the old pick up truck with their pads and helmet.
I love that part. He nails him in the drill. Ray was supposedly not a top tier guy in high school at first. He worked hard to get where he ended up. Even if he did murder someone.
To anyone who is still in high school or younger watching this commercial, own every second of it. I'm 22 years old with a successful career ahead of me but I would give anything to go back to August
Anyone who is or wants to play football, just know that it's one of the best decisions you can ever make in your life. I was going to play in college, but a part of me wanted to go to a large university to get a good education. My story ended in high school. Just know that if you wanna do ANYTHING, whether it be to become and artist or join the armed forces you have to have heart and drive and always be hungry. Football teaches you to have this. It breaks you down to your bones and separates boys from men. It teaches you the concept of family, and brotherhood. Most importantly it teaches you adversity, and what to do when you hit that wall. Nothing hits as hard as life, and football teaches you to get through that shit. Best thing you can do for your kids: Let them play football I think about it almost every single day, and would give anything to et those nights back.
