Part 5/6. Opal Cutting by Hand. Rounding and Polishing Opal.

Part 5/6. Fifth in a six part series. After the rough cutting is done, it is time to shape the opal. Preserving the maximum amount of precious opal is my choice over cutting a perfect shape. Rounding the opal is the next step, getting rid of all the sharp edges, without cutting away too much of the now precious material.
