ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Shows don't typically cast more than one Latino/Latina. They both spent the first season terrified that it was a mistake and one would get fired. So that's a miracle in itself.
@@TaraConway16cording to Stephenie herself, when she found out Melissa had been cast as Amy she thought "well this was fun, but that's it. On to the next audition." Or something along those lines. Having Dan Goor create the part of Rosa just for her was the last thing she expected to happen.

the fact she said "im only attracted to creeps" kinda changes how i perceive her not liking boyle, boyle is supposed to be weird and kinda creepy, but rosa disliked him, now knowing she only like actual creeps means she saw boyle as odd, but a good guy, hence not liking him sexually. boyle is an underrated character. actually going to therapy to fix his unintended inuendo situation. and also being a great father

I mean, we don't know them well besides Jocelyn, Jocelyn Price, but they're all unique in their own ways and definitely do not give off creep vibes

People know Stephanie Beatriz who plays Rosa also VA for Mirabel in Encanto and that bubbly voice is her natural one. What some people don’t know is that she also the VA of Batwoman in the DC movie “Catwoman: Hunted” and she uses her “Rosa” voice for it. I just found it and immediately recognized her voice.
Now she plays Quiet in Twisted Metal
Even she was on Mondern Family and In the Heights
And now she voices Vaggie from Hazbin Hotel coming in January
