Back in the 90s I had a weekend job as a security guard at this industrial site. It was very quiet at weekends, as nobody worked. There was a fox there who used to come up to the gate house, and I used to bring in tins of dog food. One day she brought her little one along for lunch. Funny thing was, she was quite tame and trusting for a wild animal. I was able to feed her a sandwich by hand. She would take the food ever so gently. Sometimes when I made my rounds she would follow me at a distance. It's a long time ago, but I always remember that episode as one of the better jobs I've had

I think this has solved one question I had.
I feed a fox every night that waits outside my door, but suddenly i think he started taking the bowl away with him. I thought it was someone playing a practical joke for a while these missing bowls but after watching this I think he was dragging it back to some cubs.

To add about the way they hunt, Foxes use the earths gravitational pull to locate their prey, this is called mousing

Foxes are also catlike as their pupils are convex rather than round like other canines.
They climb trees and even purr! (something like a purr, in any case)
I heard they have a musky smell though🙃
    Thanks for this vid! 🦊

    0:25 That's a Golden Jackal, which looks nothing like a Fennec & isn't a fox. 2:16 That's a Dhole which is also not a fox.
