Great info, not just exercise science, but rather a life's lesson, too much of anything is not good for you, and running before you can walk, or diving before you can swim always comes with consequences, haha.
Haven't got any Bearfoot-wear yet, but are on my list fo sho, especially the Bruins.
    Thanks for the upload.

I read Born to Run years ago but just bought my first minamalist shoes in February of last year. I was big into barefoot running and already had wide-ish feet. About a month into it for about 2 days I had searing pain on the bottom of my feet whenever I would stand. I sat a lot that day and fought through the soreness that presided for the next few days. I have never had an issue since.
A few weeks ago I was running in socks while inside (pot was boiling over) and I stubbed my toe so bad that I couldn't walk or put pressure on it for the rest of the day. I can't even remember if it was sore 2 days later. I attribute that to the strengh of my feet and not just recovery speed.
Speaking about strength, I can stand on my two big toes for a solid 7-15 seconds. My feet have never felt stronger.
This is awsome info, would love to try some specialized exercises and check you guys out.
