Oohhh! Those are lovely makeup palettes! 🎨 I’m a matte makeup kinda gal. I just can’t get into this dewy trend, unless it’s forced on me by sweat or humidity, lol!
Yes… the official ban has been lifted but honestly they never stopped. I tried it a few days after the ban was announced and have been using it since. Not long after the ban was announced they came to an agreement but that was never announced so it was short lived.
Wait, the Yango ban was since October? 😂😂😂😂 We have been using it in Douala all through like no man’s business. It’s just about 3 weeks ago (Feb) that we heard any news of any such ban
3:17 Omggg I got that same feeling when watching this video bc I haven’t met anyone here apart from Rosy but it feels we have all met before. Severally sef
Keep queening queen.💪 A question, while you were eating and feasting who was doing the video taking, cuz I know you didnt go there with a tripod, besides tripod no be CZcamsr😅 We shall bring that you tube office to Cameroon. Gradually, but surely
A team of delegation from CZcams will be in buea in April because they want to come and validate the content creators from the English speaking cameroon 🇨🇲 so that content creators in aglophe cameroon can be put under monitization scheme just as any other country rather than putting you people under the French CZcams copyright laws which are different . I hope you people are aware of that, right? Because you people are supposed to be there . I am supposed to be there, but I will be in India by then.
The other day I was just thinking how difficult it must be to breakout as an English speaking Cameroonian youtuber, as compared to youtubers from other countries. This is considering the fact that out of the approximately 27 million Cameroonians, only about 16% are Anglophone, so the number of people readily available to consume your content is limited. Quite unlike those in countries with a huge population such as Nigeria, as well as others in countries that are just as populated as Cameroon but have a particular language that is commonly spoken by the majority of the citizens. I think this is also one of the problems that Anglophone music artists face. This could be the reason why they try to incorporate french into their music, you know, just to widen their audience not just to francophone Cameroon, but also other french speaking neighbouring countries. Why not try to target other English speaking countries you may ask. Well, I think that's because Cameroon has mostly been known to be french speaking. So most English speaking countries over the years have not been very open to us until recently when we began to gain a little more recognition and popularity thanks to the social media. I hope this only gets better. Could the solution for our youtubers be to branch out and explore other audiences or countries just like the music artists? I saw this had a positive impact on your channel Vicky. More grace to you all. ❤❤❤🇨🇲🇨🇲
@Dominique you are correct because even the "francophones" dont even have youtubers that have hit a major milestone when it comes to CZcams. The "Anglophone" creators just need to be consistent and the algorithms will come through. It is not easy though. And it is also about creating a strong base community because it is these people that shall promote you to other CZcams audiences whether in Kenya, Nigeria, ghana etc.
Well, I don't disagree with what you both say about algorithms and all. I don't know much about it, but what I do is that know is that the number of likes you get as well as the level of engagement on a video affects the algorithm. Let's compare Vicky for example making a lifestyle video about life in Bamenda vs a lifestyle video on life in Lagos, Nigeria. The greater the number of people that like, share or comment on that video the further the audience it can reach. Usually in such a situation I think that's where numbers come in to boost your channel. And what's the number of people interested in lifestyle in Bamenda vs the number interested in lifestyle in Lagos? I agree nothing is easy anywhere but I also see the efforts our youtubers put in and I don't find those efforts commensurate to their results over the years. Is there any Cameroonian based youtuber with up to 20k subscribers? Well, honestly I've never seen. And I find this quite unsettling. Well, these are just my personal observations and I stand corrected if some of my facts may be wrong. But I've honestly noticed better engagement on videos made by Cameroonian youtubers in or about other countries and because of this I still think audience matters.
@@Dearly_beloved79 You are right that they might have "better" engagements when they travel out or integrate clickbait titles. However, that is very short term as majority of these audience tend to lose interest on other contents they publish. I think it is very important that Cameroonian CZcamsrs build a very loyal Cameroonian community and remain consistent. Also, i am not saying they should limit their content to Cameroonian topics but i am sure you know what i mean. I follow many Nigerian and Kenyan You tubers as well, and trust me this is a wide continental issue that is not limited to Cameroon. Let's not get clouded by the very few You tubers from the few other countries that have become successful. Another very important aspect is learning and improving on the editing and video production skills. There are just too many things to consider with this social media penetration. Vicky, Chimex, and Mutombo stand out to me, but I have a feeling Chimex is the one that will put Cameroon on the map if he continues being consistent. Chimex has that IT factor. No offense to Vicky and Mutombo...love you all three lool

Thank you Cindy, this is so true.We are the minority so we are struggling. One must attract audience out of Cameroon to reach their goals.
30% of Cameroonians are "Anglophones" according to the Cameroonian government's website
