- The Red White and Blue 2024 Summer Dews. MTN DEW Liberty Chill, MTN DEW Star Spangled Splash, and MTN DEW Freedom Fusion are hitting shelves now all over the USA.
Liberty Chill used to be called Liberty Brew and is described as 50 flavors in one DEW. Freedom Fusion (formerly called Freedom Frenzy) is described as a DEW with a blast of Lemonade and Peach flavor. Star Spangled Splash is described as a DEW with a blast of Red Berry Flavors.

Oh my goodness, I loved all of the new MT dew flavors. My favorite was the Freedom Fusion (lemonade peach) one. It's a little bit sweeter than sweet lightning but it's soooo good. Liberty Chill is really good too but I think I can drink more of the peach/lemonade one because it's so refreshing.
Who knew peach and lemonade could make such a refreshing combo? Mountain Dew is really keeping us on our toes with these new flavors.
I tasted a lot of cranberry in Star Spangled Splash which would make sense since it’s red berry flavored, but I enjoyed all of these flavors. I think Liberty Chill is my favorite.

All I can taste with Star Spangled is raspberry leaving me feeling that it's just Voltage that's red colored
I tasted a lot of blue raspberry in liberty chill which taste like mtn dew voltage, and blue is my favorite color
Blue is definitely the best color when it comes to flavors, right? It's like the color of deliciousness!

Just found all three at a local Kroger! I honestly liked Liberty Chill the best.

I loved Liberty Chill the best too. Did a CZcams video on the patriotic dews. Loved Star Spangled Splash 2nd and Freedom Fusion 3rd but all were in the 9’s for me. My top 2 dews of all time are: Mtn Dew Livewire (10/10) and Liberty Chill (9.9/10). Liberty Chill tastes like sweet gummy worms to me

That’s what the blue one is. They just change the name every year. They’ve had like 4 different names. It comes out every year with a new name

Lol! Great review not all krogers have them yet as one near me (8 mile) didnt have any but they still have the baja ones, I might try the 5 mile one later this week. I'm looking forward to the red and white dews but I'll try the blue again but I didnt like the brew so likely I won't like the chill. BTW Have you guys ever tried peach crush I've heard of it but never seen it in my area of the "mitten" state, anyways I found it a shell gas station and I gotta say its pretty good, very peachy too. @@ChrisFrezza Right, the one on 8mile was on top of the new dews before they expanded and remodeled the store they were always out sometimes two weeks before initial release dates, maybe PepsiCo caught up and stopped that lol! ... The peach crush is delicious 👍 Have a great night!
@@ChrisFrezza I finally found the new MTN dew and my lineup is (1) White, (2) Red and I'd actually leave the Blue at the store lol! It too me had a cotton candy taste to it. Take it easy, stay cool in the a/c and hydrated this week!

The blue one was out last summer, I think they’ve only missed one year with it, but they change the name EVERY year which is a pain.
It's not the same flavor. Last summer it was a Bomb Pop flavor called Summer Freeze.

I may be mistaken but I could have sworn one year they had a purple Mt Dew flavor exclusively for Independence day. Think it was called Violet.....something? I may be wrong but I swear I recall something to this extent

I definitely taste Blue Raspberry with Liberty Chill, pretty much like I'm drinking a blue Airhead. Love it! My #1 out of the 3. With Star Spangled the only "red berry" I taste is raspberry which leaves me thinking it's basically just Voltage that's red. Freedom Fusion is the best out of the lemonade family and is definitely reminiscent of Sweet Lightning.

The Star Spangled Splash to me tastes like the Red Sour Patch Kids.
The Liberty Chill, I mostly tasted Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Plum, and Blackberry.
The Freedom Fusion does taste like Sweet Lightning(without the honey) and Lemonade combined
It's interesting how flavors can remind us of other familiar tastes!
Shoot I got mine last week at Safeway near me. They had all 3 colors/flavors of this in 12 packs and sense it was buy 2 get 1 free I got one twelve pack of each of the 3.
Keep in mind that in my area/state like in many places you could go to one Safeway or other store and find it but you go to a different grocery store even if its the same kind you might not always find it so this is not a guarantee so im luicky the Safeway i went to even had all the 3 flavors and to top that off it was the one within walking distance.
Anyway
The red one yeah i taste the red too but I cannot place the rest of the flavor of the red one either but i will say i do like it though.
The white one proves that although im not the biggest lemonade fan that THIS stuff is awesome.
Now the blue one i had trouble identifying in terms of flavor. I mean i LOVE it that much is true but im just saying i cannot really tell what it is. I be like the blue is #404 in terms of flavor but also #YUM.
So as far as m y favorite of these goes for me the blue one has my vote. It be like to me the blue one just has a burst of ALLOT of flavor in there.

I went ahead and bought all my food lion's 12 pk's of the mt dew freedom fusion🤣. I have been waiting for a really good peach soda to be released in stores, and it has finally arrived.

Try mixing all 3 together! I just did this and it was good but the blue raspberry was a little overpowering so i added 2 parts red, 2 parts white, and 1 part blue and it was 🔥

Went to 3 stores couldn’t find the new patriotic flavor dews the rollout for new dew flavors are slow in my area nothing on dew finder either

First lime i dont like a blue summer flavor. All i can taste is all the baja flavors aka dish soap.

I found Star Spangled Splash and Freedom Fusion but I haven’t found Liberty Chill yet unfortunately.
I just got back from 7-Eleven and today is free Slurpee day, our 7-Eleven had the MTN DEW Freedom Frenzy Surpees. Soooooo good.

We can't review something we don't have yet. Remember, these weren't even supposed to be out until the 17th. I just got the red, white, and blue flavors early. This doesn't mean every one will be out early. Have a little patience please.

All of these berry variations taste nearly the same. I wish MD would do something different, they have been relying on berry variations for years for special editions and I'm always disappointed
