Porsche Air Conditioning retrofiting (modified) servo instead of pusch/pull cables Nippon Denso AC

  • Porsche 924 and 944 have a very specyfic AC system useing an Nippon Denso unit. Im retrofiting one ito my car modifing it along the way to make it more user friendly and bit more modern.

    This is fantastic! I built a custom CAN HVAC system for my MK3 Golf and Jettas. Wish I had gone with servos too.

      To continue... I will be doing this, as the lever/sliders on mine just broke. I'm replacing the dash anyway so it'll be a good opportunity.
      Toying with the thought of pneumatic actuators. (I'm a controls engineer, with tons of SMC ethercat banks).
      That said, what is your interface going to look like?

      @MonicanSpy pneumatics would be sweet, I've build a pneumatics central locking system on my 84 Scirocco, that was lots o fun . Regarding my interface, I do not now that, the dream would be an Arduino system where the sliders are just inputs but its practically a automatic AC system.
