Mark Hamill brings such a humanity to all the characters that he plays, they all feel like real people with their own fully fledged personalities. He can also be hilarious when the time calls for it, or bone chillingly terrifying. Yeah, doing a vid on him is a little obvious, but damn, he's incredible and he is the guy who made me become a big voice over nerd in the first place.
He also has incredible range, which is what I'm hoping to showcase in this one.

The fact he went from being typecast as playing heroic characters like Luke Skywalker and was once considered incapable of playing a good villain......to nearly always playing villainous characters as a voice actor. That just wins me over
What other live action roles did he even play. Luke was the only row i ever saw him in and j and silent bob strikes back but only for ten minutes. After that it's been voice acting this whole time as far as i know, least till disney asked to replay luke again.
And what's so funny....he is the voice that people call it, IT'S TRUE personification of a voice is the main man himself.....the anarchist, the terrorist, the psychopath, the mentally ill, the comback king, the clown prince of chaos, the jester of genocide........The Joker.

Personally, any roles he played in relation to Batman were most iconic to me, but I was honestly surprised how many other roles I didn’t know he played, like Ozai and a characters from Gravity Falls for example

My history of recognising Mark Hamil's voice led me to discover relatively early on that Ozai was voiced by him, but when I say relatively, I mean Book 3 Chapter 1.
The Gravity Falls one was pretty well a first for me though through this video.

Lol my father's from Mexico and whenever I watch this movie he gets pissed because he doesn't like it when they curse in kids movies and I keep telling him that it's just the name of the castle but he thinks I'm just messing with him lmao!
Castle in the sky will forever be one of my most favorite ghibli movies
Who would have thought he would be such a talented voice actor. He was iconic in Star Wars, but the role was fairly straightforward from an acting perspective. He has shown great range since then and most people probably didn't even realise it!
I dont know, the "Aw shucks" farmboy Luke skywalker from the start of A New Hope is very different from the one showing up to Jabbas castle. But I guess that is kind of straightforward in some regard, all a matter of perspective I suppose.

I saw Laura before watching Star Wars, so the idea that that sweet guy in Star Wars voices him gave me whiplash
From some legendary roles like Joker to underrated gems like Kane to great guys like Skips, Mark Hamil definitely great skills and references.
It’s kind of sad that Mark portrayed an immortal character in Regular Show yet his character died in Star Wars, but his legacy lives on as Joker
Damn! Hamill played as The Skeleton King in Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!? That was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I remember watching it on Disney XD every morning before school. This guy was pretty much in all of my favorite shows as a kid.

Man Mark Hamill can do it all. He does his work so well that a lot of the time it's so hard to tell that it's him. I mean he has played many of my favorite villains. He's no one-trick pony that's for sure.

After a while though you really start to hear all of Mark in them, you know what to listen for.

It's been a while since I saw it, but if I am not mistaken, Solomon Grundy is a tragic character, always in pain. He'd had a past connection with Hawk Girl, and out of the Justice League, she was the only one who fully understood his situation.

I never actually watched that TV show, but from what I've seen it's a similar performance to him as The Joker and this was already running long enough.

If you told me the guy who played Firelord Ozai, the Joker, and Skips were all the same guy, and were also Luke Skywalker, I’d say you were out of your mind. Yet Mark Hamill’s talents creates an incredibly wide variety of voice inflections, that makes every character sound and feel completely different from each other

Mark Hamill also portrayed Joker in the Archam games and Malefor in the Legend of Spyro trilogy of games. Since the characters are in a digital space, they are considered animation. Yet those two aren’t even alluded to in this video.
Good thing this video was made before the release of MotU Revelation. I would have disliked the video if it showed Skeletor stabbing Prince Adam in the back.

I always admired Mark Hamill so much 😁. He is truly amazing when it comes to voiceacting like The Joker and Ferris Boyle in Batman TAS , The Hobgoblin in Spider-Man TAS and many more 🙂
He was even in Adventure Time. He voiced Finn's fear of swimming in the ocean and that evil guy from the episode "Enchiridion".

The only non-villain I can think of that he voices is Skips from Regular Show.
This man played one of the most iconic heroes in all of fiction, and now he's known for voicing one of the most iconic villains.
