    Yesterday night itself I was browsing through these screen light bars. And now here is your video on that. Crazy coincidence... 🙂

    I have 2, one on my horizontal and another on my vertical reader monitor, I couldn't live without them, I also have a remote adjustable led strip behind the smart TV mounted 3rd above my monitors for the back light option, I usually do a low intensity cyan/blue color I picked.
    I still have a dedicated desk lamp for more in depth lighting needs for more hands on tasks, but for those that don't....these really open up some space.

    they sent me this thing a couple months ago and unfortunately it blocks the webcam on the studio display LOL

      @CreatedTech  Před 2 lety +1

      Hahaha yeah tbh I'd rather use this than that crappy webcam... You could probably still use them together though. I propped the front clip of the screenbar on the top edge of the monitor, so it kinda just sits there. Not as secure but doesn't block the webcam.

      There is a webcam accessory that Ben Q sells that can be installed above the screenbar so that you can mount your webcam on top of it.

    I just purchased this light after watching your review. Expensive! But I love it. Your review was very accurate. Very pleased with this addition to my home office. The wireless remote does have a bit of learning curve. It is a cool feature but could have been a little more intuitive to use. Thanks again for a great review.

    Cool review! I'm interested. However, I've looked at a bunch of these, and how has nobody figured out a mounting clamp with a gap in the middle and some height adjustment so that you can use a webcam with it? It's like the last two years haven't happened for the people who make these things.

    Dang I just bought the other BenQ from your previous video! I have LEDs mounted to the back of my desk for bias lighting behind but this would have been nice. Very cool lightbar! Since getting my lightbar I have noticed quite a bit less eye strain. Truly I was somewhat skeptical but it really did make a huge difference. I do keep my studio somewhat dark at night.

    I have a nice pair of BenQ panels, and I picked up a couple of these screenbars (Plus ver.), but after trying them, I decided not to use them. It's too much light. Even on the lowest setting, it's just more light than I want. Nice idea, but seems a bit like a solution in search of a problem.

    You should try the yeelight screenbar pro. Pretty much the same thing but with rgb

    on the top of the screen I can see a glare from the lamp, or I am wrong?

    • @CreatedTech
      @CreatedTech  Před 2 lety +1

      That's only because I had to tilt the light all the way down for that particular shot. Otherwise it would have shone straight into the camera lens. During normal use you can position the light so that there is zero glare on your screen.

    I love the idea of these ScreenBars, but it seems that they wouldn't be compatible with cameras that mount to the top of the monitor in a similar way, such as the Logitech camera I have. That product is a must since I'm on daily zoom calls, but I'd love to add a light as well.

      You can use a magic arm, or one of those flexible clip on webcam mounts, and clamp them onto your monitor mount.

    Planning to use this with my apple studio display, but it will block the camera. Perhaps can attach the Halo a bit to the side? Any users out there with apple studio display can share the feedback, thank you.

    If I get the M1 MBA I’ll use it for my school works since I’m a college student and I also want to start a CZcams channel
    If I get the $1000 I’ll use it to buy the M1 MacBook Air

      Lol, no it’s not, I bought it with my own money and also discussed some pretty big flaws. It would be “obvious” if I disclosed it was a paid advertisement, which I legally have to if it were.
