      Outbound Lighting, all the time. Road or Trail. Proper beam pattern makes ALL the difference.

      Outbound is not available in Europe is it? Big vat and handeling fees from the US🤷‍♂️

    I find that even when mounted as high as possible (i.e. your helmet), the shadows created by the low angle of incidence is a limiting factor. More power can even exascerbate this.

    The evo 1700 or cbl 1600 for price is the best you'll find with high and low beam and as powerful as car headlamp

      Unfortunately the new Lezyne lights weren’t available when Alex started lights testing back in mid-summer 2023. We’ll try and include them in next year’s lights test.

      Evo is the best overall mtb specific light
      Infun GT is the best value while getting a similar pattern.
      Sold though as i see better with amber/selective yellow
      Green is another good color woth benefits

      The best lights never get might ir any love
      Best overall light from what I've tested was the trail Evo
      I don't like the hangover, the upcomming Portal is more ideal for helmet.
      Infun GT200 is a great one for 45-65ish dollars..
      Works well as either bar or helmet
      A cheap light to supplement the Infun when on helmet is the novsight 1600 on bar( for throw and street due to cutoff)

    £400+ for a light? It’s not a lighthouse or search and rescue helicopter 😆

      @@asacronsofirn sp33s для ближнего света, у мени их два стоит, и sofirn if22a для дальнего. Я много чего перепробовал, на данный момент лучше сложно что то найти

    • @PghMtbRides
      @PghMtbRides Před 4 měsíci

      I agree , most are because theyre just an overpriced flastlight in a different form factor
      Theres only a few that stand out and use a legit good beam pattern..ie wide and evenly diffused beam with no hot spot and enough throw...
      Truck off-road pods or SAE fogs are where its at

    • @user-yw4qc6lv5k
      @user-yw4qc6lv5k Před 4 měsíci +1

      I absolutely totally agree, they are a rip off ,I read your comment and had a look at Sofirn range of lights , they are really good and exceptionally priced , the problem is , in comparison to mtb lights , the flashlights don’t appear to have much battery capacity to power the leds at full power for very long , unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the case with the more expensive mtb lights where you can get full power for well over an hour , I think if we want full power for long durations then it’s the mtb lights , I can truly see where you are coming from though , 👍
