    Always an interesting lesson i so much appreciate your time and efforts !! Recently watched your trip to the great north hanging out with the Revv gang how entertaining! Reminded me of Strange Brew the 80s movie meets guitar slingers. Got some awesome slide tips love your whammy slide replication!

    Yes this is so nice. I've always watched closely as to how you play outside so tastefully and interesting. The more I learn, the more I learn how much there is to learn haha. But yet these are not difficult concepts to grasp. Playing them as smooth and flowing as this video is another story. But it opens a new way of approaching improvisation. I believe sincerely tossing in some of these great teaching ideas adds to the REVV channel. Helps bring exposure. And for those of us that follow regardless it's a very nice treat to get mini lessons now and then in the mix of great reviews and demos.

    Thanks for these ideas! I especially like the second shape because of the way it bridges two positions of the pentatonic scale, great when moving up and down the neck!

    Awesome sauce! (It gives me hope, albeit a small one, that you are using speed bumps as a ref. So, you’re human…phew, those playing skills, I was beginning to suspect cyborg 😂)

      @ShawnTubbs Před 3 lety +1

      I did have a DGT with moon inlays early on but it had some finish issues. It was something PRS was and has sorted out. I eventually traded it for the one I have now. Thanks so much for watching!

      Thanks!! That's the REVV G20 running direct using the 1st position on the Virtual Cab Selector. It's a REVV 4x12 cab with a Royer 121 / Shure SM57 mic combo. I'm using the 2nd channel on the G20 in the first aggression mode. The gain is set to about noon. The reverb and delay or plugins in ProTools.
