Good video. With Stranger Things back, I do hope this means Behavior is devoted to improving on those OG licenses. Characters like Freddy and Michael could use a modern update. And I’d love a second season for Evil Dead II, complete with Henrietta as a new killer, an Evil Ash skin for Knight, and some new ash skins.

Ghostface should be higher, here's why: Funworld has made physical merchandise based on DbD's Ghostface skins, and DbD has made skins based on physical merchandise, so that signifies a HUGE bond from both parties imo.

i guess its a blessing in disguise that they couldnt get movie rights. Ghostface wouldnt be shown as much love as he has been if he was shackled to a survivor and map.
dont forget that he got the mask from Scary Movie as well with the little tongue, theyre having all sorts of fun with the license.
yea i went into spirit halloween and they had like 3 ghost face masks but that they had Dead by daylight on them!
About the sadako DLC, they explained why they didn't choose a different protagonist, and it's because none of them survived, but Yoichi did, so they made an adult version of him which actually added to the lore as they allowed it
half of dbd’s liscensed survivors are explicitly already dead in the source material i really dont think thats the reason
@@fishe4230none of them die to killers though. The only one that I can think of that died was Tapp. Most everyone else who was killed was killed in some different ways, especially the license survivors

- Chuckys owners, particularly Don Mancini, are always interested in things with Chucky being involved. They love giving him opportunities to act like he's an actual actor and not a movie character, and it's led to some pretty wild and fun moments with Chucky, like when we was on WCW on the big monitor and quipped with a wrestler. Point being, future additional Chucky content and skins seems incredibly likely
- the talent behind Chucky and Tiffany, Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly, have both stated numerous times they are utterly in love with their roles and would happily play Chucky and Tiffany until they die or retire, whichever comes first. So there's always opportunity for the characters to get some new skins, maybe with their own Moris' and voice-lines like the Naughty Bear skin does for Trapper
- Brads daughter, Fiona Dourif, now plays the main character Nica since her debut in Curse Of Chucky a decade ago, who also loves the role and franchise and imho she fits right in with the world they've crafted. With Nica being one of Chuckys few adult adversaries, it'd be interesting to see her, Andy or Kyle show up later to fill a Survivor spot or two. And with the original talent for Andy and Kyle reprising their roles since we last saw them in Child's Play 2, they seem just fine with returning whenever the time calls. Which sounds an awful lot like more opportunities for Survivors with voice-lines
I could go on for another two or three points, but basically what I'm saying is Chucky has so much potential for future collaborative content, and with the great response he's gotten in the PTB, and how likely everyone is to love him when he releases, I'd expect some more sweet Chucky goodness coming our way
OH, GG! I forgot GG! Glen/Glenda had themself some pretty serious killer moments in Seed Of Chucky, and has become a massive fan favorite. Papa BHVR? GG skins WHEN??????

I know that Cote recently revealed that Universal was actually super on board about working on them and fully cooperated with them throughout the entire development process for Chucky
Wwe wrestler Liv Morgan also made cameo on Chucky's series by having her killed by him
I don't think Nica is coming based on her being in a wheelchair. I mean, they could completely change the way she plays like they did with Chucky, but I'm not sure if they'll go that far.

I could easily imagine the devs pulling some sort of "Finding herself in the dog, Nica made another incredible discovery. She could walk. She soon realized however, she would spend the rest of her time running for her life" or something weird like that
I wish Andy was a Survivor he would have been a great choice for chucky to have voice lines for
I will truly never find any collaboration funnier than Nicolas Cage just, being in this game. No character, no license of anything he's in, just him. He's The Guy in the game.
That and his perks are unhinged madness
Dead by Daylight is actually what got me into Silent Hill, I joined DBD right after the chapter released and I loved the design and lore of Cheryl and Lisa and wanted to know more, and now 2 years later, I'm a huge fan of both. It just goes to show that these partnerships work for both parties as fans like me will be interested in the license and will then buy products from both games.

You mentioned the Blight Berkin skin, but i also want to mention that for Left 4 Dead, the four original survivors got free skins based on characters from the series, Silent Hill had the Robbie the Rabbit suits for Legion (the yellow variation is even a DBD original) and Resident Evil also had a Hunk skin for Legion.

I still think they could invite Robert Englund into the studio and give Freddy a free Legendary skin. Especially seeing what they did with Brad Dourif.
They'd need New Line's permission first, and that'd probably come with a very hefty price if they did say yes, along with the obvious cost of modeling a new skin, doing a voice recording session, paying Robert Robert England, and all for a Free skin?
As much of a dream as that would be, New Line is probably the reason it will remain as one.

the RE voice actors were already called in after their DLC release when the 2nd RE release came out so its entirely possible that Nic Cage having in match dialogue could lead to the RE survivors getting it.
if not for a 3rd DLC release at some point (probably Lady D, thats the only Killer they could do to justify dedicating 3 whole chapters to the same license) then they could do it for an outfit release like the one that gave us William Birkin.
They could also do Donna Beneviento and her doll which would probably play like chucky so they could make them into a legendary skin for chucky and have Donna be the one that hooks the survivor like Charles does for chucky
Tbh. I'd love to see a Dr Salvador(RE4 Chainsaw Man) skin for Hillbilly.. given that we got the Hunk Legion skin and Birkin Blight skin.

The real kicker for Freddy is that if they obtained the license now rather than in 2017, the outcome would have probably been better. They may have gotten the actual Freddy (not Reboot Freddy) done the character right (in terms of power and VOICE LINES) and gotten some extra cosmetics. But the characters we have are, butchered as they are, are likely based on their agreement and negotiations from years ago.
You also need to take into account that behavior was already working on Bubba when the rights to NOES were finally given to them. If they had the proper amount of time to impliment the content it'd probably be similar to Halloween in regards to quality, but they had to rush out NOES and then immediately finish Bubba to meet their deadlines.
Let's be fair if they got the OG Freddy appearance, be it back then OR now and it had voice lines from the OG actor himself...... He would shoot up to being one of the most popular killers.... because that's playing with POWER, B!+CH!
Don Mancini is just that guy he’s so friendly and is so open for chucky opportunities so like someone else said it’s not surprising that chucky has so much love
Im suprised no one's really talking about Saws relationship with behavior. They had a full chapter with killer survivor map, have gotten new skins very frequently, and were the first licensed tome, with promotional material including Tobin Bell, but now theres even more with the recent anniversary. Not only is there a buyable anniversary skin for pig, but theres a masquerade mask for Tapp that is completely free with event currency. Theyre still making new skins, theyre getting in on big dbd events that are generally reserved for original content, and in doing so are even making free licensed cosmetics. And all of this on top of being an older license. Dbd is big enough now that newer licenses deals are generally just better than older ones (nightmare and tcm compared to chucky, RE, now DnD, etc). Saw is one of the oldest licenses in the game, but despite this they still have this level of a relationship with DbD where they have a dedicated tome and new skins and now anniversary skins with some being free. Massive respect to the saw license-holders.
Resident Evil Collab is what got me into DBD, so thanks them for that.
Also I love that Blight rates Licensed Chapters. He is such a chad guy

My personal top 3 chapters i want for DBD
1.Bioshock (i really want the Elizabeth with voicelines)
2.)little shop of horror (of course a full chapter)
3.) Amnesia
and maybe there would be skins that change the killer into other amnesia characters

I'm so sad we'll probably never get more Quentin and Freddy skins... I wish we could've at least gotten some Christmas sweater designs for them. Freddy already has the color pallet for it, and Quentin could've had a blue sweater with some coffee or energy drink theme, or even his Zoneral meds or something. Sad for all of us 6 Quentin enjoyers ;-;

Correct. You don't get anything in game for buying the nfts (aside from the chance to win a code for the dlc)
It was the association that was the problem because BHVR was contractually obligated to hand over the models they made to then be turned into nfts

I was very sceptical of Chucky getting added to DbD (yes, because of his height), in fact, i really hoped it wouldn't be Chucky, but from the PTB, it seems they made him work quite well with the game and, honestly, i changed my mind.
Furthermore on the Hellraiser license, Clive Barker is the reason we got the voice lines so late. He had to wait until he had the rights back, but he absolutely wanted the voice lines i the game, and he provided them to BHVR. As for Doug Bradley, he had no idea what DBD was and still doesn't other than it being some horror game, but he recorded the voice lines as a personal favor to Clive Barker. This can be verified by him and his wife on their CZcams channel, right around the time the voice lines were added.
Also, so great to hear you didn't have Stranger Things before, but now you do! I find quite a few players angry that it's back because they have some exclusivity sense of entitlement for it, but that's not me. I want new players to not be left out!
I’d love for them to add Jason Voorhees, the amount of skins he could have is endless, like in the Friday The 13th Game, and there’s so many survivors you could choose from to add as well, for me it probably be Thom Matthew’s as Tommy Jarvis. Too bad there’s a rights issue and court case etc.
More Silent Hill is all I want.. they haven’t added a new map or anything so I’m still pretty sad… and I’d like to see a new chapter for it with a new killer (could be one of the other monsters or just a survivor and map) but people don’t speak on it for some reason…
EXACTLY theres so many places thatd make a great map (like the amusement park or mall from sh3) and i think valtiel would be so cool as a killer. Maybe his power could be turning valves to bring on the otherworld like he did in sh3 or something. I wish more ppl talked about another sh chapter i think itd be amazing

I think one license nobody has really thought of is death stranding Norman Reedus as survivor obviously and Cliff Unger or Higgs Monaghan as killer would be so cool especially with how cool the DOOMS are.

The Nicolas Cage chapter convinced me that it’s extremely likely they’ll get Norman Reedus to collaborate with BHVR, though I could only see him playing Daryl Dixon from TWD as the franchise is so massive- telltale games, comics, collab with fortnite, etc etc.
I don’t 100% know the details about AMC’s license, but I do think TWD as a DBD chapter in the future is very plausible.

Even DbD wasnt sure how to make Chucky work at the time. But since they already made a short "killer" with the Twins. I guess I figured it out. Also wouldn't mind seeing another short one, this time the Leprechaun.
Anthor thing about behaviors relationship with silent hill is that behavior also worked on silent hill ascension where they modeled new monster designs for the "game" and one of them in particular seemed heavily made to fit the dbd killer roster vibe which seeing as they made him they'd probably be able to add him to dbd. The only reason they might not is because silent accession is massively hated and they probably want to avoid association

Ok so I’ve thought about a really cool and interesting chapter idea, the Evolve chapter. A chapter based off one of the pioneers of asymmetrical multiplayer games, Evolve. Now you may be wondering how a killer from this game would work considering the monsters are so big but remember that the Alien Queen featured as a skin in this game was shrunken down significantly to work within the confines of the game so I think it all works out. The monster I would choose to come in as a killer into DBD is Goliath and any number of the hunters could come in as survivors. Now obviously I don’t have the entire power and such mapped out in my head but I’ll give general ideas for it. Goliath would be a tall killer with a 32m terror radius and a movement speed of 4.6m/s. His power would revolve around the evolution mechanic from evolve in which dead animal corpses are scattered around the map for Goliath to feed on. As he feeds on these corpses, a bar will fill up and once he’s filled up that bar, he can evolve and grow stronger. Now his abilities would be tricky since he has 4 in his original game but I’ve come up with several ways in which this can work. The 4 separate abilities are; Leap Smash, Charge, Rock Throw, and Flame Breath. I can think of two ways in which these abilities can be implemented: 1. You start with only one ability and it can be changed depending on which add on you choose or 2. Tapping the power button cycles through each ability and holding the power button activates the ability. I feel like the ideas presented here can be expanded upon but I hope you enjoyed the read.
Evolve? No offense if this is a game you like or something but wasn't that game a poorly received flop?
i dont see it, personally. it could work but Evolve was a bit of a controversial game with few fans, BHVR would be taking a risk making a license for a game that has literally 0 fans. (due to it not being playable anymore, even if there were some people who still enjoyed it back when the servers were up)
i love monsters so im all for an Evolve DLC though even if my appreciation for it will be entirely detached from it as a license.
Evolve only really failed because people complained that it did the same practices the DBD does today, only, a few years before it was accepted by a majority of people.

honestly the crossovers I'd most love are The Operator (Slenderman/ Marble Hornets) I mean cmon it even has a title name right there, and for survivor I'd love to see a last of us crossover with Ellie and maybe Joel & it's actually possible because the series and 2nd game remaster (its more of a wish but I'd kill for clem from the TT TWD aswell but I couldn't see it happening)
I’ve never considered it before but now that you mention it Marble Hornets in dbd could work really well if they handled it right, although that might just be my nostalgia talking lmao.

Nobody asks for this killer but leprechaun would be a fun chapter. Not that big of a license but they have like 10 films so I think they should join.

Something to note is that Quentin still doesn’t have the likeness of his actor. The rework was just a thing they did for all old survivors. Kyle Gallner wasn’t the cause for the survivor model update.

I personally would love to see the lead singer of Ice Nine Kills as a killer considering how their last 2 albums were horror themed or possibly a Dead Space chapter with the regenerator as a killer and Issac Clark as the survivor with Isimura or Titan station as a map
I doubt INK would get a chapter but with the collections/collaboration with Iron Maiden and Slipknot I could fully see INK, Rob Zombie, and other metal bands (and specifically horror themed metal bands) having collab collections too

alcina would probably have to be a nemesis skin due to how tall she is

It also sucks ash came out before they started to give survivors voicelines in the trial cause that would have been extremely in character for Ash to make stupid quips while being chased by a force that wants him dead, theres so much potential for Ash voice lines, imagine if he had a voice line about the Delta when you spawn into Azarovs or made fun of Leigon cause theyre just a gang of teens, it was such a huge missed opportunity

At this point, BHVR has knocked it out the park for me. Freddy was already in the game when i joined and since, theyve given me Pinhead and Xenomorph. Rework and reskin as Robert Englund, and I'd be set.
Now that we know short k!llers are possible, The Leprechaun comes to mind. I'd also a Licker from RE. Insert fav monster and protag from Parasite Eve be dope too.

I think it'd be really cool if we got like, a summer/beach outfit for many of the licensed characters, but more specifically Pinhead, Dracula, The Unknown, and Demogorgon.
I love that we got Chucky since that means we might get Spielberg's Gremlins which would be my top wanted chapter

Now that it’s announced that fnaf is coming to dbd, it could be more likely we would get the 2018 version of the Halloween characters since blumhouse makes the fnaf movies too.
Well two very possible ones would be phantasm since they are looking for game opportunities and the terrifier clown who the producer themselves says they want in dbd. Than a obvious one is predator. While if we are talking about legendary skins well crypt t.v has a massive variety amount of creatures.

as for the killers:
096 might be a bit too much like blight, legion and wesker due to its extreme speed and being able to locate each survivor
106 can phase through walls so i doubt he'll be added either, unless he can go through breakable walls and downed pallettes
049 could make himself a zombie that behaves like nemesis' zombies after killing a survivor
178-1 could have a unique item that makes survivors see it (anaglyph 3d glasses) while also letting it harm them, though they would need a reason to wear the goggles instead of just ignoring them
i doubt 173 could work, but scp sl managed to pull it off
i suppose they could get additional inspirations from scp containment breach or scp secret laboratory

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised more companies don't love BHVR as much as Capcom. They can see how much money they can make with a killer and got a second one. I'd definitely be thinking "I wonder what they can do with my horror icon"

i'm a little sad you didn't mention the naughty bear cosmetic for trapper, as while it's a bit disappointing, it was a massive stepping stone for behavior back when they were going by their old name. not only did he have costumes based on horror movie icons, but his own trailers based on them too. plus don't forget that two costumes reused for panic in paradise were pre-order exclusives for the original!
in many ways naughty bear laid the groundwork for dead by daylight, and i wish more people talked about both his cosmetic for dbd and what he meant to dbd as well as behavior
edit: i'd like if you also mentioned the whole thing with 505 games publishing the original and i think the sequel, that might be why he was only a cosmetic and not his own single character since it seems like the dbd team really likes him and wants him to be more due to the hinting of him "coming back"

Fun fact: Bubba WAS going to leave dbd for TCM! But TCM allowed them to continue to use him because the fans wanted him back so bad in dbd. Bhvr just never gave TCM credit for allowing it, kinda sucks. This is according to 2 Devs of TCM I met at a convention :) But tcm totality owned him 100%, but let dbd still keep him.
You could tell the passion they both had for the game. Was wonderful hearing them talk about it, they oozed enthusiasm and passion for the game and all things related TCM.
Something to note is that Quentin DOES have a cosmetic set! the beanie and quilted shirt set you get from purchasing the chapter.
i want to see predator in dbd, with the release of vecna i think he could really work, be it maybe he can set traps near spots that can alert you to a survivors presence, spear or disc or the iconic plasma caster as a ranged option and maybe a leap where he jumps over walls, theres some many things they can do with that particular creature
I think a fun side note regarding the Silent Hill chapter is the Konami Code easter egg

I’ve honestly been really impressed with Behavior. I’ve been playing the game for a few years and remember holding out hope for them to eventually add Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Alan Wake chapters to the game. Now all 3 are in the game! I’m one happy gamer.

Pinhead originally wasnt the original voice actor. It was someone random but when his original voice actor found out (he had no idea about this colab) he got upset and had them use his voice instead. Which is why the voicelines got removed for bit for "unknown reasons"
While there is no real Freddy in the game with voice acting from Robert Englund, the game is not complete. By adding him from the remake just for show, Matthew will not change the fact that in his museum of horror there is a huge hole that cannot be filled by any ugly Nemesis from the remakes

I gotta say the recent Alan Wake update is also MASSIVE a ton of alan skins plus 2 new character skins, an entire tomb/rift with major things for him, a new recolor skin in the rift, voicelines, new lore for Alab wake in the game. Its a good one

Don Mancini cares a LOT for Chucky and didn't even want to be apart of the reboot, but i'm still not surprised he let Behaviour go off with Chucky, I don't know a lot about DBD but seeing from the stuff they made it makes sense Don would let them do a lot with the character, and if Chucky and Tiffany are in something there's no way that their voice actors would want to be left out, everyone who's ever played a part in making Chucky is usually very loyal to it.
