He always comfort us and I love how he alway gives advice to stays no matter if it is a harsh problem or just a small funny little problem. He is always there for us and I am sure that me and all stays will miss Chan's room. CHANS ROOM WILL BE MISSED!!
So many nights skipping sleep just to ensure I got my weekly Channie's Room fix. He waited for STAY to give him the worse pick-up lines and then used them at later times against us. I actually got the "not allowed to do Chan's Room" news during the middle of chemo Monday and just started crying like a crazy person. Literally had to go back to 18:52 because I thought you said you thought you heard some turkeys .. i was suddenly wondering if I had missed you relocating to the country lol.

I got attacked for this on twitter but imma say it anyways. Chan's room is gone because (mainly) Stay's couldn't keep it a safe space. Lot's of things were taken out of Chan's room and plastered all over Twitter. Names were put to stories that Chan never said himself. Words were put in his mouth because Stay's were quick to spread information based off emotion rather than rationality. All of that caused Chan to publicly apologize so fandoms AND idols didn't feel attacked by the chaos Stay caused. I'm not saying other fandoms aren't to blame as well, but I am saying that majority of Stay's have refused to take responsibility. Chan said today that we are making things worse and aren't helping at all. There were trucks posted up outside his place of WORK. I think some forget this is still his JOB. That had to be incredibly embarrassing for him. And he was attacked for not "caring" about some Stays feelings. Which is absolutely absurd. That man does nothing but care about our feelings. But sometimes lines need to be drawn. And that's exactly what he did. Stray Kids is a very big name. There's brand deals, collabs, HEAVY WEIGHTS attached to the name Stray Kids now. And that is something we as a fandom need to take into account. Rather than risk another outburst and attack from Stay, they'd rather remove Chan's room all together. I don't blame them. I do really hope this is a reality check for some that we as a fandom need to behave better and realize boundaries are there for a reason.

Stay Strawberry_milker3474, I am sorry to hear that you were attacked for having your own personal opinion. This was well written and you are right that people forget that this is a job (at which he is so awesome at) and Chan still has responsibilities to his company and his members. He's made some very mature decisions and choices (that most grown-ups still refuse to make) which I can respect and I hope others will also. If a "Chan's room" version returns, I will rejoice, if not, well that's why we have YT channels, we can look them up.
This was very well written! I would also like to add that some toxic STAY would come in and bully Chan and tell him to unalive himself or call him ugly and just shit like that. So it was a lot that played into Chan’s room being shut down and it fucking sucks. Chan’s room was one of if not the only thing Chan had to really allow himself to be himself and allow the members to just be goofy and some STAY just had to ruin it. It's so sad and I hope Channie is ok.

Exactly! It's our own fault for not protecting him in the right ways and not respecting his wishes when he asked everyone to behave. Chan's Room was HIS safe place, first and foremost...where he could express himself openly and let a little bit of his guard down. It was therapeutic for him just as it was for us, but unfortunately that special space was ruined by anti's and immature, selfish "fans" who don't know how to show some actual respect for the their idols by keeping their damn mouths shut! As a fanbase, we broke Chan's trust and it kills me. The reality is, even if there was no official ban on Chan's Room, there's just no way for things to go back to how they were before.

I never got to experience a single live of Chan's room but I can definitely say that I just hope he's alright.
We don't know if they'll permanently keep it away or are just waiting for the situation to calm down more (Stay on Twitter and TikTok aren't helping with that whatsoever)

I know Chan's room was a safe place for many but spamming tags on Twitter and spamming comments on JYP's TikToks won't help him nor you.

Chan's room was the highlight of almost every week of my Stay Journey. I can't believe it's been over 4 years for me and when he started the vlives, my world was a very dark place but his simply being himself brought light to it. la sigh.

Will miss Channie's Room but my take is *if* the company said he couldn't do it maybe it's not because they are trying to control him but rather protect him. SKZ have gotten so big the past 2 years and he is in the firing line so much. He might not want to stop it but maybe he needs to stop it. *If* it is to protect him, we have to let go of our selfish wishes. I just wish social media wasn't so toxic. None of this may have happened if people were overall more considerate, sensible and respectful.

I'm still hopeful. Chan is smart and he's mentioned how he really does like div. 1 so I'm just gonna wait and hope because we don't know everything. But man does my heart miss Chan's room. I don't get why chan can't do chans room but the other members have gone live in the past couple of weeks too, but i understand that we don't know much about what has/is happening. I think all stays should be patient and wait till chan gives us a full meaning on why he can't go live anymore. We can't assume things from one recording from a fanmeet. I hope him saying everything is his decision is him trying to tell fans to back off. If the company said no but he didn't agree there would still be Chan's room. I think some people don't understand yet just how much control and power he has over fans, his group, the company, and even the industry really. I hope it is only for a while but we have to learn to lean on each other for support in case it is not. We need to use what they have been teaching us and form strength in community. If the foundation, us, cracks then our home, Stray Kids, will surely collapse

its highly likely it is because of the ive situation. (not solely that as there have been similar incedents before, but it was rly the last straw.)
hes told us on bubble to focus on their music and to leave it be. i trust that we should just chill, apologize for causing this, and enjoy what we're given instead of demanding more
Short version:
Thought he is free to say whatever he still has a big influence but he doesn’t know how to measure his words, says that he is always watching when stays misbehave yet act as if stays are a bunch of friends he can gossip with which resulted not once but three times, in incidents causing a huge amount of hatred towards Woojin and the second and third time towards IVE.
Extended version:
The first time after woojin left he went live to complain about trust, broken promises, blah blah = Woojin basically crucified by stays.
The second time, he talked about lack of respect at an event and stays jumped on ive when they weren’t even there.
Finally the third time, after a new event and knowing ive got hate bc of what he said the last time; “stays I am always watching”, he talked about it again mixing the two events but ive was here this time and stays did it again.
Chan apologized afterwards since knetizens, aka the one who can say who is disrespectful and not international fans, stepped in for IVE. Not bowing 90°, not having time to bow back bc that someone was running, not having 40 pairs of eyes and manipulated clips ≠ disrespectful.
Stays instead of shutting it decided to go even bigger after making trnedy TikTok and Twitter post and flood IVE’s insta comments calling them names and asking for them and dive to apologize to Chan when since the beginning ive didn’t do anything at all and dive were just defending them.
He and stays had a privilege given by the company. Chans room. It was something nice to watch and him talking about futility was fine. However he has a big, sensitive and reactive fandom. Chan went overboard and stays showed they can’t be mature and handle serious talk. Like you confiscate TV privilege from a child, the company confiscated the live privilege and had every right to do so. The man is in his mid twenties, has been around for a long time and still cannot avoid making issues affecting others. Even now when Chan addressed this he could’ve chose a different approach. “due to busy schedules the lives will stop for a moment” or he could’ve just took responsibility for it and said he took to much liberties with his lives and need a break to think but no. He blamed JYPe. And once again stays, by blaming everyone and the company but themselves, proved that they are the problem.
Totally feel like he’ll find a way back to us 🤷🏼♀️

Just a reminder Chans room was shut down for stay and chans relationship.
It was shut down for HIS safety as an idol and the companies. No jyp doesn’t hate stays (in this scenario). Fans were starting to create a para social relationship with Chan. They thought he was their friend. They would use him as there therapy and stay up late just to see him on live. The relationship was becoming so parasocial stays thought they could take his word and detect into it. Because of this a group of mostly minor ending up getting hate for something they didn’t do. As a stay I’m also not gonna sit here and act like Chan is 109% innocent. Sadly Chan is aswell. This isn’t the first time his word has been misinterpreted but he continues to say these things to the wrong audience. I love Chan but he is Naive of the parasocial relationship he created with them. He doesn’t understand his word have power and stays don’t understand that Chan isn’t your friend nor therapist. THAT is why Chans room got shut down not because jyp sucks but because YALL suck
This is the most ignorant thing ive seen yet. Chansroom probably got shut down bc last time a certain fandom accused him of p3dophilia , made fun of a song taking abt suicid3, made fun of him getting emotional during a concert and overall tore him apart bc some stays implied he was talking abt their faves while he respectfully talked about his experience with respect from his juniors. Stays spent 4 days doing nothing but defending chan. We werent even harassing that group but they claimed we were, made setup accounts and accused chan of sending his fans on a war to harrass them. It only stopped bc chan apologized FOR SOMETHING OTHER IDOLS HAVE ALSO TALKED ABOUT WITHOUT BACKLASH. He shouldnt have had to but it did stop it. JYPE shouldve protected him and sued these people but they just ignored it until chan apologized. lets not lick this companys boot bc even with itzy and twice, JYPE has done nothing EVER to protect their artists against harassment. Thats the issue here. They'd rather let it play out bc they know they'll get money anyways. They'd rather shut chansroom down, restrict his freedom of speech so they dont have to deal with the potential backlash than take action.
Even besides this chan has been harassed every week no matter what he said during chansroom. Is spent every week defending this man. And he's not stupid or clueless of his words. He's always put disclaimers and said he doesnt mean harm, always tells stays not to fight other fandoms and literally gets mad at stays for it etc but it STILL gets twisted bc frankly the kpopfandoms have this vendetta against skz and chan specifically especially bc he speaks english and they somehow feel he's accessible. He's an idol too. He's not your peacekeeper, a skz manager, a bodyguard or social media manager.
