    That was FANTASTIC! Can this tutorial be done using Photoshop 7? It doesn't have the Alt Merge Visible. Or at least, I've failed miserably attempting to do it. I'll appreciate any response. Best.

    Imma curious. How do you get the Watercolor Texture? Is it automatically shows after you adjust the filter gallery into watercolor? I'm using Photoshop CS6 hihi I'm a first timer using this Adobe app.

    When I hold ALT and Click on Mask it adds a mask but doesn't overlay over my photo. I can't figure out how to get my photo white after you apply mask so I can start brushing. Please reply I saved project and waiting for reply.

      First make sure that your background is black. To do that, Go on "edit>Fill>Black>OK" and once that is done make sure that your brush mode is on "normal" and not "multiply" or anything else really. The brush mode is situated on the top of the screen on the left side of opacity. So make sure that you select your brush type and the watercolor brush you would like and then make sure that your brush mode is on "normal". I wish i was able to help early but i hope this can still come in handy for you or other people that have the same problem!

      update your gpu driver ( i used DriverEasy ), after you're done open Photoshop and go to Preferences/Performance and make sure the 'Use GPU' is on, then, go to advanced and also make sure OpenCL is on . Also, Photoshop2015 does not include the oil paint so you should upgrade to a newer version IF you have an old version.

      Hey so i just watched this video and i had the same exact problem. I'm not sure if the root of the problem is the same but it might be your brush mode. Make sure it is on "normal" and not "multiply" or anything else really. The brush mode is situated on the top of the screen on the left side of opacity. So make sure that you select your brush type and the watercolor brush you would like and then make sure that your brush mode is on "normal". • @NewWorldOps
      @NewWorldOps  Před 6 lety +2

      I learned pretty much everything on my own, just messing around in Photoshop. I started out using CS3! So when there was a new update, I learned the new tools and so on. But check out adobe, they have a really good/free Photoshop course that teaches nearly everything. :)

      Just keep at it if you're passionate. It'll all click one day. There'll come a point one day where you stop clicking things and say "oh that looks cool" and start with something in your head and know how to get there. I started out messing around on my own in my teens and now I have a nice job with an office and I work in photoshop every day. Get a degree, too. It'll open many, many doors. Good luck!
