Copenhagen was not found in 1157, but was established as the capital in 1167 in Denmark, Copenhagen originated as a fishing village and trading post under the name Hafn (Harbour) and was established as a city in the 9th century. Traces of a Viking Age settlement dating back to the 7th century have also been found. Havn became an important trading town during the 11th century.
When you see a city, that way, over 90 years later, the years will not be visible. It is the clip from Gammel Strand's fishing wives that tells a story and shows the time.
