Nice comparison. Definitely would prefer the OPPO reno 10 pro+ between these. It's better for human subjects and portraits and is better overall. I think though these two phones aren't available in many of the same markets so there may not be a choice for most consumers. I suspect the OPPO reno 10 pro+ would be more expensive in global markets. Personally in China I'd still prefer the find x6 over the Reno 10 pro+ but I think this is the best reno series phone since the original OPPO reno 10x zoom. Oppo is back on the right track this year with significantly better phones than the last couple of years.
Hi hans...For me oppo outperform nothing phone 2 with better hdr,dynamic range,shadow details,better skin tone,grab more details and color..But in zoom nothing phone 2 is better with telephoto,in the night photo nothing phone 2 on par..In the night video nothing phone 2 is better in low light video..Nothing phone 2 just need to updates certain place in camera department and it can fight with oppo reno 10 pro + ..Thanks hans for review for us..Support from Malaysia ♥️

In my view, the flagship smartphones which has only 2 sensors at the back usually doesn't offer a nice performance, let me check can this Nothing Phone 2 change my mind.
Nothing means hype - marketing - people have come to know this thing so far. They have actually neglected CAMERA which nowadays SELLS aphone. They have made a blunder by not providing Telephoto lense. 2x zoom on main sensor 24mm wide can NEVER give that background compression and optically separated Bokeh of 75mm focal length. Nothing has focused more on UI which is definitely better than oppo. BTW oppoR10p+ is much costlier than phone2. 10pro plus must be priced at around 45K.
Personally I would not buy both devices. Whilst I think they both have goodset of cameras. whilst nothing is one of the best in software support imo it lacks the team big tech have in specialized areas such as cameras (many nothing phone users use gcam) honestly I whilst I think oppo has good cameras I feel like its to processed? oversharpened? and contrasty for my liking. Love the video han

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ has a dedicated periscope lens while Nothing doesn't have, so I think Oppo will take better photos.
