How to scribe baseboard to floor

This basement had self leveller poured throughout the finished area, but that wasn't enough to have my baseboards fit tight on the flooring.

My baseboard was sticking up nearly a half inch on one end and this helped get it to sit flush. Thanks for the tip!

Try using No Nails caulking for base board adhesive, Zacker! Not sure if you have that there. 🤷🏽‍♂️

What is the actual material being used for the baseboard?

Hi, if I remember correctly it was finger jointed clear pine or poplar

It's craftsman style; everything is purposefully rectangular.
