FYI, UPSC scam long exists and everyone knows. The interview panel selects the children of civil servants as a priority. And to throw a dog bone to us public, they select a Rickshawala daughter or a poor kid child and highlights it making us blind to the rest of selection.

Omg that's so true. They celebrate even birthdays in banquet halls , use flights , spend thousands on shopping , wear branded clothes , have their own huge home with next level furnishing but they have EWS certificate 😂.

EWS has strict criteria it is not that easy to make EWS certificate like obc non creamy layer untill and unless government officers r corrupt despite that in IIT,AIMs,Upsc documents r thoroughly scrutinize and EWS cut off is similar to general no benefits it has only been made to get upper caste vote

This also raises the issue of ‘non creamy layer’ nonsense. A lot of backward castes have now risen well above affluence but still get reservation but people of higher castes including a lot of Brahmins and Kshatriyas have fallen below poverty line and if their parents work hard to get a job that pays well, their children are still disqualified from any reservation.

Yeah, I had an experience with an IRS Officer's son.
He was a friend from college, initially sweet but then started coercing me into sexual favours which I refused. He was harassing me and I denied each time. We had a mutual friend who was suicidal and I used to take care of her. She wouldn't let me cut contact with him and said he won't cross the line if you say no, he is just playing around. I never had male friends growing up because I was scared. Had been through terrible abusive experiences as a child. So, I didn't know what to do.
He tried forcibly kissing me and left last minute. My anxiety was terrible but I felt responsible for my other friend who threatened to isolate herself and I made myself believe that he was just playing around, he is not serious especially since he knew my past. He was extrememly emotionally and mentally abusive and somewhere I felt responsible for everything. I refused any relationship with him even though I liked him once. I was scared of him. He threatened to make my life miserable if I told anyone about him.
One day I just had enough. I was still scared so I started distancing without any fights or confrontation. But he started spreading rumours, asked me to continue our friendship and mentally harassing me in multiple ways. It brought me to a state that I was so done. His mother was an IRS officer and he thought he could get away like he did for most of his life. He even told a friend if this became legal, he would get the best lawyers from Telengana and get away.
I collected every bit of evidence I had and even though our college authorities were terrible and tried to push me down, I made it very clear that if he is not shifted from my class, and kept away from me indefinitely, I will go straight to the police and with the evidence it was enough to get a zero fir and arrest him within 24 hours. They transferred him to another campus.
That was the first time I got to know just how much a civil servant can influence the system. The end result wasn't an easy path. In fact, I had many factors in my favour owing to some wonderful people and some good decisions I made. The only reason it got there was because I was done and refused any alternative.

Quotas must be given only 4 economically deprived. Y rich ppl need quotas at all? Will Indian govt collect taxes based on community n not based on income? I don't understand this logic at all.
I know most of my friends using Sc/ST certificate to get scholarships & other aids. They are so well off to afford abover average lifestyle when I am in GC but live a poverty-stricken life.
Here in Bangladesh University Students are fighting against the quota system which have 56%. Indian student should also do that

UpSC should do away with the interview system and start awarding marks for the probation period as well. Probationary officers should be dismissed/removed if complaints are proven true.
The entire UPSC including its composition interview panel members Exam pattern needs overhaul. RIP to those aspirants who didn't qualify and exhausted all their attempts. If she does all criminal activity and landing in a job. Will she be loyal and true citizen. How can we expect that she will serve poor and common man like us... Jai Hind.

I jus want to add a comment...im not blaming all but a few...some people let it be in any jobs fake most of the details, mostly abt family background or abt coaching.They say they come from poor background/ used to starve etc etc...Now this is about a civil servant il tell u one more. Recent civil ranker mentioned that her father is a farmer...dats false..his ancestors are farmers but he is a businessman and he is abt to enter into politics and her dad's brother is a rowdy in the town. She had a perfect plan to become ias n so choose appropriate subjects .It became damn easy for her.She took coaching and denied abt her coaching in every interview.She's sooo rich. You might guess now how come I got this information,bcz we know her well..She uses all costly products,used to live costly life and she's so proud. She used to feel as a ias even bfre she got rank..Now dat she got rank she's like I dnt talk with normal people..and m saying for sure she will be corrupted officer for sure..Some of these rankers will be polite only during interviews and till selection process..Once into position the reality will come out .
If you dig deeper, I am sure you will find more such individuals.There are some bureaucrats who do make absurd demands at times.But well nothing in life is perfect .That's why Que Sera sera ....C'est la Vie !!!
We should take the matter of claiming reserved candidates under non Creamy obc and EWS because everyone out there is using it to get admission in govt colleges and to get into govt services. This is the major matter that should be seen asap.

Actually non creamy layer isn’t just about the annual income. It has many other criteria as they what class government worker is one or both parent or what age they became a class 1 officer etc these things ate also in the criteria
She is a classmate of my husband. They studied together in one of the most elite schools in Pune. Back in 2005-2006, she used to be dropped in college with Mercedes and Innovas. The cost of the car itself is more than the non-creamy layer reservation limit. Her entire family has built their careers on lies and deceit. Her father has a net worth of almost 200 Crores.
Now i understand why most of the IAS officers dont behave like a puppet of Govt post their appointment.. Sab mile hain.. Sarkar IAS sab.. Bas public pagal ban rahi hai
