  • '"PAKUMBO" is a Filipino sweet made with coconut meat, boiled in a thick sugar syrup. Its name is spelled as "PACOMBO" in some provinces, and it is also known as 'BUKAYO" in some regions. It is similar to the Visayan "BOCARILLO".
    It is made of the simplest of ingredients, but its cooking procedure, similar to that of making praline, makes this recipe quite challenging. Watch the video, listen well, and see how it is done.
