"Sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam--this is bhagavata-marga. And arcanam vandanam dasyam sakhyam atma-nivedanam--that is pancaratrika, arcanam. So out of the nine--nine, eight, seven, six, five--whatever you do, that is sufficient because it is absolute. Any item, even one item, you can, if you perform perfectly, that is sufficient. But there are nine alternative items. Just like Haridasa Thakura, he simply chanted, sravanam kirtanam. He did not establish any Deity, but he got perfection. There were many others. Just like Pariksit Maharaja. At the last stage of his life he simply concentrated in hearing Srimad-Bhagavatam. Sravanam. So if sravana is perfect, that is sufficient. Any one of the nine items, if it is done perfectly, that is sufficient. Pariksit Maharaja, he did not go to the temple. He sat on the bank of the Ganges, and he was very serious because he knew that "I am going to die within seven days. Let me finish as soon as possible simply hearing of Srimad-Bhagavatam." He was intelligent. Otherwise... Not that simply he was hearing. He was questioning, as you have seen in the Srimad-Bhagavatam. So he was very scholar. It means as the spiritual master, Sukadeva Gosvami, was a great scholar in Sanskrit, the king was also a great scholar. Therefore quickly he was reciting, and he was understanding. And as soon as there was some difficulty, he was immediately questioning.
So both the spiritual master and the disciple, they became perfect simply by sravanam kirtanam. This is Bhagavata-marga. Simply by hearing and chanting. The spiritual master chanted, recited Srimad-Bhagavatam, and that is being imitated."

Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is one of the confidential devotee or servant of the Supreme Lord, and he will always be considered one of the greatest successful Spiritual Teacher in this era... Why? Many have tried, but some individualist could not understand and accept what was good for them, therefore they carried-on with their materialistic or demonic behaviors...
Srila Prabhupada, and all his blessed disciples, blessed grand-disciples teachings will always have one of the greatest influential guide-lines on how living-beings can live, and dovetailed their everyday way-of-life back-home, back to the Sky Blue Planet, and/or beyond... Believe, or not believing, Srila Prabhupada work continues, and he lives happily... And, for the Supreme Lord devotees carry-on, and stay on track!!!
Just a little advise for individuals that disrespect the Science-of-God for living-beings...
The Supreme Father is kind-hearted, and also rewards, accordingly!

Barbara, Please mute the music and use another media player to play whatever chanting recordings you may have. Part of the construction of this was to allow people the option of listening to other people (gurus) meditation music or whatever is appealing to you. Hello Barbara, please see the video at czcams.com/video/vgnIpPfoyEE/video.html . It is an experiment with robotic video, but it is my voice. Follow the instructions and it may help:
Open a browser and play the video and turn the sound down to almost 0 zero, then open another tab with different chanting video and listen that audio. Go back to the original video and you will see the graphics and hear Srila Prabhupada chanting on the other video. Hope this helps. Your servant, JD
