For my birthday last year, the gift I gave myself was a *hotdups* bag. Not only has it accompanied me on countless important occasions, it has also become one of my proudest shopping decisions.
I think the profit margins of luxury brands are too big, which is why there are various imitation luxury goods on the market. For example, the famous *hotdups* , their existence is reasonable and targets different groups.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *hotdups* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

I actually like the big logo, I bought it because it’s beautiful. I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable*jklux* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have the *jklux* as my travel bag and not have to take care of it. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I use my *gtdupe* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.

The whole subject of fashion dupes always raises the question of ethics and where the line should be drawn. Personally, it’s not a problem for me as I have never engaged in the world of luxury or designer goods as a) I don’t have the extortionate amounts of money to spend on them and b) I’d rather wear my labels on the inside of my clothes! I’m not out to impress anybody purely through logos and I prefer to find individual and more unique styles by shopping in independent stores or at charity shops. Your videos prove the point that copycat designs are becoming all the more easy to access and purchase at a mere fraction of the cost of the originals but I’d prefer to avoid them all together!
Patents and trademarks etc are almost impossible to enforce which is why we get so many copies.
Did you know that a real Dior bag costs only €57 to make?
This has just come out in the press about the factories that were found in Italy - I was shocked!
@@AimeeMichelle absolutely! Clearly designer bags are an absolute rip off! Plus alleged sweatshops in Italy. Doesn't stop at bags either. Allegedly many top designer perfumes are made in sweatshops 😔
Unfortunately these sweatshops have been around for many, many years. Not only in Italy but Asian countries too.

I think it’s shocking how much Hermes charge when they pay so little towards the conditions those crocodiles are kept in. Nothing luxury about that brand in particular at all.
@@AimeeMichellethis isn't a new thing?! My dad used to deliver fashion clothing and products to company's for them to put their logos etc on. And for example- we are talking over 10 years ago. My mum was a pro dancer and she loved bench trousers for dancing and had 30+ pairs. But it costs them around £3 to manufacture those trousers and they will then sell for £50/£60. River island jeans- £1 to make them he could speak to them directly because he was offloading tonnes of the products to them and let's face it they're not going to keep that big of a secret with that big profit margin. Hence you see in outlets 50-75% because they're still in profit with loosing £75%. I stopped the hype over designer clothing. I like ted baker bags but I get them in outlet and I only need a couple. And clothes I just buy what I like and is right for the occasion. People who showcase there LV and GC bags etc are just mad throwing money away
