The one thing they actually did right: Showing how Kurama has changed since Naruto ended, and that he now loves him like he did the Sage, and will ensure he's always watched. I mean, Kurama even respected Minato when it came down to it. Goes to show how he literally changed and developed over the plotline, from monster, to evil beast, to angry beast, to one who was betrayed and hurt by many, and left by the few who cared for him.
