The 7th of May is National Flower Arranging Day- Let’s get ready
This video explains how to make a hanging mechanic with a water retaining container, which can be hung on a wall, gate, door or fence to support a Flower Arrangement to promote National Flower Arranging Day.
The materials you need are a 20cm and a 25cm flat copper wreath rings some polypropylene ribbon and an empty milk carton. Once you make this mechanic you can then arrange a flower arrangement to display your skills whilst promoting National Flower Arranging Day to encourage people to join a Flower Club.
Why not have a go? Make sure the design is about the size of your mechanics perimeters, if too tall the design will tip forward, make sure all stems are inserted deeply into the floral foam so they won’t fall out and select plant material which is light in weight.
