Underrated comment. When I think of this song those few seconds are what comes to mind first. It's like the key change and harmony suddenly open up a door into a whole new world - which is quickly closed again

As composers, the Friedman - Mustaine duo is one of the best ever. Mustaine said Rust in Peace was a top-level album because Friedman joined Megadeth.
As of a couple of weeks ago, dave mustaine said the new record might be the Best one because of kiko and dirk influences on the record

I really don't get why AllMusic gave 2,5/5 stars in their review for this album. Meanwhile, Metallica's St. Anger gets 3/5. That's an absurd.

Because Metallica is overrated and people don't want to be shamed by die-hard fans that think shit like Death Magnetic and Load, and Reload deserve 100/5 stars even though they were complete shit

My ex wife used to play this song at me, when I first started playing with heroin. That was years ago...heroin is no joke,I've paid dearly for playing with heroin. Should have listened better to the song.

Wow. Huge Mustaine fan, and this album shows chops. Was a senior in HS when this came out. Load came out same year so I never got into this album. This shows just how good they really, truly are.
Load came out a year earlier in 1996. ReLoad was 1997.

Ozzfest 97, I had to sit through an entire limp Bizkit set to keep my spot up front. They had planes with cryptic writing banners and I swear they had a mixer Wich volume went up well past 10. Just cool. I forgot about that.

+Khaos427 Yeah man, no idea whats with everyone in the comments thinking its a drug positive song, its about addiction, struggle and regret, seeing others turn to dust... Dave struggled with addiction for yeeeears, thats why he was kicked out of Metallica (one of the reasons, which seems silly looking at their history now.) I also like Mice and Men.
So, Dave Mustain passed out from drugs and slept on his arm wrong. Messed it up real bad and had to relearn how to play the guitar all over again after it healed. True story that makes a good song that much more impressive.

ive been clean from alcohol since aug 18th of this year (2019) ive been fighting this war ever since 2013 when i lost my parents. but im trying again to stay sober this time and im going to stay on the right path. if people like dave mustaine, alice cooper, and ivan moody can kick their habits i can i owe it to these guys to giving me the extra strength i needed and the inspiration.
