OK regatta Midsummer Cup in Kristinehamn 2024

On June 16th, the first official regatta for OK dinghies was sailed outside the Picasso sculpture in the Kristinehamn archipelago. Three races were completed on an Olympic triangle course in the light wind. 15 boats participated and all were able to finish within the allotted time. The OK fleet in Kristinehamn has established itself as one of the largest OK fleets in Sweden with over 25 boats. Behind this new venture are several former sailors from the sailing city of Kristinehamn. Above all, a well-known M32 World series sailor who has also brought this class to Kristinehamn. The M32 is an extreme catamaran designed for sailing competitions. The OK dinghy is an older design but a good sailor that goes high in the wind. The OK Picasso Cup will be held from June 5-7, 2024 and the M23 races will be held from July 11-14. Don't miss it!
