I strung my last eclipse 2 with this stringing with ecd wax mesh, and it was wonderful for a while, but once the mesh bagged out, it started clicking off the plastic, but I loved it so much in the beginning, I'm back to string up my backup!!!
I cant thank you enough for this. My son just started playing goalie and there are very few tutorials on this head. I tried a different one and got lost thru half of it and your video literally saved me from throwing his stick out the window. lol Thank you.
When stringing I typically skip a hole when starting the si and one when you start the knots. For me helps with channel up top keeping it tight and letting the pocket be defined in one area rather than the whole stick. That’s just me but great stringing none the less
patterns great, possible change the last 3 si to one si for a more channeled pocked that shifts up a bit more, leads to a better pattern for a lot of bigger stronger, high school level or college players.
Elijah Currie this is for a youth player. I agree switching SIs to 1SI will push pocket up but don't see how that makes it more channeled. Maybe I don't totally understand what you're saying. Generally things that move the pocket up take away from channel

So happy I could help!!!!! Goalie heads are the toughest to string and there definitely isn't as much out there about it

Nice.
Does this work with grizzly 2s
Prob not it stretches too much
Will this pattern work with grizzly1x?
I'd try the baggier sidewall tutorial for 1x
Will this pattern work with fiber 12?
Bob Rob not sure I've never tried Fiber. Give it a try and let me know!
would this work with ecd hero 3.0 semi-soft mesh?
no because that is not a goalie mesh, for ecd products it would be best to use impact
