That was more Iron Maiden doing The Brits an honour than the other way round... I'm guessing that they only accepted it because, as Bruce said, it was off the fans effectively. Would have thought the programme makers could have chosen better hosts than Cordon and his mate...It made me nostalgic for the Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood collab'...and Frost presenting the award was just cringy, Maiden were lucky they were on tour and couldn't accept it in person... At least THEY were witty and eloquent 🤘
Bruce’s speech was very nice. I like Eddie making them disappear at the end! It woulda been more funny if they were actually there in person to accept the award. That said Bruce and Jan are the only members moving about. The rest apart from Ade’s thumbs up look frozen.
