You will never play something where all drivers are using full power at the same time. Playing normal music at stadium levels they are using around 600 watts each. And that is insane loud... we are talking Metallica live concert volume.

A 20% rise in price of the Beolab 90 in September 2023. £110k. In their transport crates too large to get through the average door. At 137kg installing is no easy task. Certainly B&O is pushing to make their speakers only affordable for the 1% by income. Other price rises include 25.75% on Beosound Theatre, 16% on Beolab 50 and even the little Emerge gets a massive 19.43% rise in price.
    Beolab 18 a modest 2.72% rise but BP A9. BS2, A5 no change.

What can I say, speakers are going up in price. Back in the day, the Focal Grand Uptopia's were £125,000. Now they're £200,000+! However, B&O have a habit of jacking their prices up.
Back in 1999/2000 I was looking to buy the Beosound 1 which was £750, then it jumped up to £975 (when I bought it) and it went onto £1200 + ... for no apparent reason … but the marketing department claimed it was a rise in metal prices that was the reason for the price hike, as my memory serves.

They are almost double the price when they first introduced. But that is the B&O format. Their prices increases drastically over time.

For rich people the more expensive the more desirable. Maybe they discovered that if a customer can pay 80k then they can pay 135k

Have you gone to the grocery store recently? lol? Why should B&O sell these for the same price it had 8-9 years ago?

    • @bzdtemp
      @bzdtemp Před měsícem

Don't be silly, if you think it is almost double you're bad at math.
The prices has essentially been adjusted for inflation, like most products are - it is just that since the number are bigger it is easier to notive.

Tweeters in these can each take 50 watts. So 7 per column makes em 350 watts max. Not 8,000 watts forget it! The ones which can take more power are MBL xtremes 900 watts per channel and Zeta zeros - 2,500 watts , but "just" the sub module

    • @egj1975
      @egj1975 Před 7 měsíci +2

What are you talking about. There are 18 drivers in each speakers. Each of the 4 woofers has a 1000 watt amplifier. And then there is 7x300 watts for the mids and 7x300 watts for the tweeters. Alot of 100K speakers sound nice but nothing comes close to these when it comes to power. The power and control is mindblowing.

    Hey.
    I need help.
I know you get two in the package.
You pay for them and you get 2.
A stereo pair, but can you buy just one?
This i really want to know.
If you could make a deal with them and they only give you one?
Because my room is not super big and i do not want two.
    One would be much better.
    For me.
Because only one is needed for me.
But if you can not make a deal to get only one and if it does not even work alone then it is big oopsie!
I really want the Beolab 50 someday!
Someday i will get the money to buy that beast!
    I am serious!
Now when i have heard some videos, they say Beolabs are monsters!
I will do my best to get 25K!
And maybe hopefully make a deal with Bang Olufsen to get just one!
    It would be so cool!
Or maybe yiu can just buy one?
    Already?
But i can not find anything?!
    So you maybe know?

    • @diuran1919
      @diuran1919 Před 10 měsíci

Yea, supposed but they are not. I have been on many sound system shows to know people reactions. They're a normal speaker that sound very good but looks typical box way, there are speakers that look typical box way but different, real wood or metal with different patterns on them, with all the tiny details, people reaction is simple, they look good and sound good. Another reaction on people face is WOW they are insane looking and sound beautiful, there are big, feel "power" from them. Next are the weird one. People seem them hear them and yes they sound like the god speak to them but looks so weird and they move on. People don't realize that a lot of the speaker at shows aren't for home cinema, there are for simple listening high quality of music.

    JBL killer!
    😂
    JBL Fanboys crying!
    JBL Partybox Ultimate came already.
But it loses 100/0 to Beolab 50/90!
JBL Fanboys say JBL Partybox Ultimate is now the best floorstanding/ mains speaker!
Well it is now the best party speaker, but not even close the best floorstanding speaker!
    Or let us drop that!
Beolab is the best for parties!!!
    Lmao!
JBL can be moved around that is one good plus and it has sexy lighting, but it does not sound even close to Beolab!
JBL Fanboys are so angry and can not accept there are better!
Beolab 50 for me if i ever got the money.
    90 would be too much.
    😅
But JBL Partybox Ultimate is now the most affortable big floorstanding speaker.
And now it is the only thing i have money to buy.
So it is the only thing i can afford.
And the speaker is not terrible.
But not the best what JBL Fanboys say!
Someday i will buy REAL STUFF!
    Someday!
    🥲

Show the speakers. We don’t want to see you two standing and blocking the speakers while you’re yammering.
