- I got another one for ya and this one is one of my favorites. It is unlike anything I’ve ever released before because it’s actually a love song to my husband! It’s vulnerable and personal as it tells the redemption story of our once broken marriage. There’s too many songs out there about break ups & giving up. This is our story of forgiveness, enduring hardships and fighting for the greater love.
It’s romantic and I actually got the first line of the chorus straight from scripture - Song of Solomon 4:11 - “The kisses of your lips drip honey”. God created romance and I’m not afraid to sing about it!
I pray that this inspires you whether you’re married, single or dating. Love is worth fighting for.

The story behind the song reminds me very much of my own with my wife. We too have been restored to a romance and love that can only be found in surrender to the King.

Much cudos to this song. My wife shared this song with me months ago, as nice as it sounded it really had no impact on me. Until a few days ago she reshared it with me and told me this was her song to me. So I listened to the lyrics and I was over whelmed with emotion. It calmed me, it humbled me and I felt undeserving. This song truly represents My wife of 31 years of marriage. GOD truly did a work in our marriage and on me, where I once tormented with discontentment, impatience, frustration. Causing my wife emotional pain. I'm now living in freedom of that foolishness for the last 7yrs plus. GODs way is the best way.

Wonderful backstory for this song. God DID create romance, I mean helloooo. Songs of Solomon? lol. This is beautiful. I'm glad that the Lord worked things out for you and your husband, AND that you guys clung to Him during your darkest times. He is supposed to be that one thing/person that a husband and wife of a Christian marriage should have in common. The mediator. Hey, from one Rebekah to another, it can be inspiring. I've seen so many divorces including my own parents. Even ugly ones. I've also seen redemption and restoration through my dad's remarriage. From a musician's perspective, and someone who has gone through a marriage restoration as well, I love all the ear candy here. Vibe of the song perfectly captures the sense of relief and restoration that the backstory talks of. Watery, fluid, smooth sounds that are soothing to listen to, even the drums. Low register notes are a nice touch too.

This is SO good. I love the story behind it, very empowering. I've been married for almost 10 years now and its not always easy, you have got to fight for what is right. Keeping God at the center of your life and marriage makes it much easier!
