“Free speech” in the context of a privately owned social media platform is totally different than free speech as our constitution refers to it. Our constitution protects our speech in public spaces (and on our own property) from being restricted by the government. When you’re using an app that someone else owns-that a private citizen or a group of private citizens own-then the First Amendment is not relevant. In fact, virtually none of the websites or apps we’ve ever had have had a truly “free speech” policy, where anything that isn’t a crime is allowed. 8chan and 4chan are pretty much the only sites that tried that experiment, and it immediately became clear why no one else does it: because those sites became cesspools of such depravity that the vast majority of Americans would never want to use them. It is perfectly normal and understandable to want to have some regulation of speech on your platform. The problem with our social media apps currently is not that they have regulations on speech at all, but rather that their regulations are biased, one-sided, and clearly meant as a political weapon. If they replaced them with common sense, politically neutral regulations that most people could agree with, there really wouldn’t be any problem.

It is after all how we've come to understand so much about the planet He placed us upon, the environment with which we live amongst other creatures. It's how we've been able to thrive. We certainly couldn't have built towers of glass and steel, 200, 300 mph automobiles and space-faring vessels which can travel thousands of mph without being able to work out the mathematical/physics equations allowing us to do so. With the limited understanding we have to this point, we understand a great deal, even about "weather patterns." I'm no expert at all on such things so I won't pretend to know but I won't deny that the basic principles of how these systems function are/can be affected by certain activities we humans engage in here on Earth.
We already know that we can help or harm our health by the chemicals we've learned to manufacture as well as a host of industrial processes. The problem with the "CLIMATE CHANGE!!!" craze is that the LEFT, like near EVERYTHING turns it into a POLITICAL ISSUE for the sake of $$$/power just like the "GO GREEN AND BUY ALL-ELECTRIC VEHICLES!!" It's all political for them, it's not about "solving real-world problems with practical solutions." That's the difference. Just like "gun violence", for the left it's a POLITICAL ISSUE "GIT RIDDA BIG SCARY GUNZ/ALL GUNZ WE DON'T NEED 'EM!!" When we KNOW the issue is NOT "the gun itself", it's the PEOPLE WIELDING the guns with intent to do harm and that's what we call CRIMINALS.
