I wish I could meet and tell you my problem minister I applied PR is now 6years and renewable vise it's almost a year then I lost my grandma and my mom is in critical condition I tried my best calling homefairs visiting homefairs but no help at all they told last time at VFS that they don't have any office for the emergency case I cried till I work out minister let hope we will get justice from you? It doesn't work like that. You should register your kids to your country's embassy. It also depends on what visa you were on in those 16 years. If you were illegal, forget it.
U guys the problem u have is that u think that staying in a foreign country for a while without a proper document will make u to be the citizen of this country, it doesn't work like that,what u need to do is to go home n register those kids to ur original country bcz u went to the foreign country illegal do there is no way that u can get them the south African birth certificate.
