He's speaking for ALL small towns. Those clips were news stories from 2020.
The guy who jacked up the two guys coming in to rob the convenient store was a marine. Once a marine always a marine. That actually happened.
He did it with a gallon of milk... took out two guys and a third did a runner
Kathy here - Jason Aldean is originally from Macon, Ga. But he now lives outside of Nashville, in a small town. He is basically saying small town folks won't let the residents of that small town act like the idiots in the big cities are, and sort of a warning to the people of the big cities not to bring that crap into their small towns. Thanks for the reaction - always love watching INFORMED people of today's society give an actual opinion that truly applies to the mess going on in today's world.
Real Irishmen support the sentiment of this song. Community spirit is vital and yes, we look after our own. 🙏🇮🇪🇺🇸
Jason and his band are bad ass.
Hi from a smallish town in Indiana and I gotta say this song is straight FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been rocking to it all week and love these reactions.... I hope ya like it!
I'm in the very southeastern corner of Indiana, on Ohio river by Kentucky and Ohio. You're right😂😂❤❤❤song is straight fire❤❤been jamming for couple days to it myself😂😂😅
Few miles outside of French Lick myself. Up in the hills an hour or so SW of Bloomington. That s__t is a bad idea around here as well. Song kicks ass.
@@micahhawkins-bs9gf not to far away from me. I'm 12 miles from Lawrenceburg(whiskey city) in the country.
@@spikebeans9563 Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't know why I put SE. I'm SW of Bloomington. I do know Lawrenceburg, though. Been through there many times on this or that errand. Truth be told, I was born in Columbus, but Dad was a minister so we moved a good deal. I live on the old place his people came from now. About halfway between French Lick & a little fart of a town called Shoals.
Great reaction! The "Dirt road anthem" is one of his biggest. Would be a great one to check out.
@@Imdevantewarnerflyover (state's) is another great song!..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
@@Imdevantewarnerhe knew a young black man was hung from that balcony of that court house for something he didn't do by a mob
Humble opinion
There are 3 points of interest
1. The song uses lyrics of grandad gave his first arm.. telling the whole Nation Don't forget your 2nd Amendment Right. Everyone has the Right to defend their life, family and community. Cities have slowly lost them with laws chipping at those rights.
2. He says Round Up..Terminology used when Government confiscates your 2nd Amendment. He said small Towns understand their Rights..it is not happening.
3. He uses imagery of Veterans with weapons reminding Government that all citizens are packed and loaded..not to try it.
Media uses fear, racism and chaos..Why? Perhaps to help the Government?
Why would the Government want to take away the 2nd Amendment?
Imagine a Government without being on check?
Dangerous... Hitler, Stalin, Mao brings light to a real problem. A life without personal protection is at the mercy of those who have it..
God Bless America and its Constitution.
Thats it brother! Its That Simple! These NITWITTS ALL Suffer From Advanced C - OVS. Chronic Opressed Victim Syndrome! 😊
One of the first things Hitler did was have the personal firearms of citizens confiscated.
The man that those 2 pulled a gun on in the store was a 😂😂Marine😂😂Not today punks😂😂😂❤❤❤love your reaction to this and your line of thinking❤❤ from a small town rocker😂loving a country song❤😂😂thanks cmt.😅😂😂nice catch on the mj riff. I ❤love the guitar work in this song.❤❤❤
@@Imdevantewarner the late Great Edward Van Halen, played that nasty guitar riff for MJ.
He and Chris Stapleton are very good friends.. he’s also from a small town the same town that I live in, this song is true, We have each others backs, if someone needs help, you help them.. I remember when Antifa showed up in a county close by I’ll put it this way they didn’t stay long!!!
Did you know that MJ guitar sound was Eddie Van Halen? This does have some other EVH influence in it as well. The pinch harmonics. Great guitar work and tone. Drumming was great too. Yeah, the woke mob keeps trying to divide us as does the media. This song isn't about racism at all. It's about senseless violence. We need to cancel the cancel culture, the media, and divisive government. United we stand, divided we fall. Peace man. Good vid.
This Nana is willing her 9 mm to her grandson. Great review! I am a 75 year old white woman who has just subscribed to your channel!
No town is going for it... Its about good vs bad ... Nothing else...
There are plenty of cities all over this nation that have people that would just run and hide. They would not defend their own. This song is about the cities that would.
@@Imdevantewarner To be fair, if you know the history of Sundown Towns and its ugly history that still exists today, I would have to say that it was a bad step on the singer and production company to film this video the way they did.
If you don't know the history of Americas racist Sundown Towns or Sunset Towns, I recommend googling it then go back to this video and lyrics.
1) They focused on BLM and ignored Jan 6th, with a message that its the "blacks" that are a problem.
2) They focused on BLM and ignore the extreme right wing mass shooters and extremist violence... Unite the Right rally.. to say the blacks are the problem.
3) After watching this, you would think that white folks never riot or cause mayhem.
4) They filmed this in front of a building where a public lynching of a black man took place back in the day
5) Unite the Right rally was a racist right wing rally to fight to keep confederate monuments, it was started by white nationalist groups, white supremacist groups and neo-nazis (right wing)... it was a violent rally where they killed someone who was protesting them. Zero footage of that in his video.
6) Either Jason is a racist, or he accidently created the summer anthem for the KKK
@@tgc117 I think you need a closer look at the video, I saw more white people acting a fool then any other race in it. Also if your making the assumption that it's black people committing these criminal acts doesn't that make YOU the racist one?
@@tgc117man you're diving too far into finding a reason to think this song is racist. Lol this songs about the rioting itself it would not be tolerated out here. The whole song itself is about community being united against violence and crime. Which is funny they said this song promotes violence when the entire time he's singing against it lol. Doesn't matter what color you are, the only thing that matters out here is what your character is. Thats the good ol boys he means.
The dude in the liquor store was an ex- Marine,,,notice the robbers were white"!! That scene was all over the news at the time!
But HEY,,The best part of the video at the end has been, for some reason removed??See if you can find the original version that obviously they don't want you to see??................Great review,Thank you!!
Devante, two robbers we’re actually fought off by a Marine that was in the store. He protected the other customers. That is what Jason is saying! We need to take care of each other. The government has divided the country for too long. We need to take back is ours. All people need to come together.
Young man, take your rightful place of respect from me for really listening and understanding the message of protecting ourselves and our communities from absolute violence. 👍🇺🇸
That one clip of the 2 guys who come armed into the gas station... the guy who checked them is an ex Marine. Guess they learned.
The Giy in the Store was an Ex marine at 4:30am in AZ. He said he is not a hero he did what he is trained to do.
Devante your youtube channel is absolutely awsome, teally enjoyed your comments on the video,im a little oldet than you but.i grew up with Goerge Strait, Allen Jackson, Alabama, Brooks and Dunn, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, hey your Bass Pro Shop Ball cap is totally awesome ty you for the video and your comments God Bless 🙏🇱🇷
His Speaking The Truth And I'm From Small Town Myself We Take Care Of Our Neighbors Also .. He Saying Act Ya Age And Grow Up Show Respect Towards Others And Get Along With Each Other Love One Another Don't Hate .. His Telling It Like It Is I Stand Behind Him 100% Support
Jason is from Macon, Georgia, but his entire family lives with or near him in Nashville, TN.
Your analysis was on point bro!👏🏾👏🏾
@Devante Warner omg thank you for being one of the only people that caught that MJ guitar riff & said something bout it....also that part you reacted to was an attempted robbery incident in a neighborhood of my town that has older vulnerable people....dude is a veteran....one of the young guys ran away after the one got hit but was caught not too long ago....veteran got to be the honored guest of the next parade & everyone in town saluted & applauded as he passed by
So many miss the Michael Jackson lick from Dirty Diana! So glad you caught it!!!
Jason and his band were playing live at the tragic Los Vegas shooting a few years back. I'm a new sub, great reaction, great song. Much love.
Jason isnt only speaking about his town he is talking about all small towns
Go Jason you are a hero
Jason Aldean was who was on stage playing at the outdoor concert in Las Vegas when the shooter started firing from up in the hotel and killed hundreds of people in the audience a few years ago! He understands what it means to be in a mass shooting. It’s close to his heart. Great job❤
Great reaction, the clip of the fella that stopped a robber was an actual news clip of a real event, can't remember all the details, but it seems like he was a marine in the right place at the right time.
I never noticed the MJ riff until you pointed it out!! Thank you for your ear!!
"He puttin the cowboy hat to the side, he takin the hoop earrings out" 😂😂
Country Road anthem- Jason Alden ❤
That guy in the video that took out the robbers was in Yuma, AZ. They tried to rob a gas station and ran into a US Marine that wasn't feeling it. He held the guy down until police arrived.
Tge Guitar Riff in Beat to which you were referring to was made by Eddie Van Halen..good song too ! This is a great song about community and protecting your own community from foolishness regardless of color...
Jason is a good dude. I stand with him!! Take care if ur own!! Yeah, I hear some Dirty Diana!! Lol!
Jason is lacing up!! 😂
Great ear on the MJ Beat It riff. I couldnt put my finger on it right away. And because its Beat It, I think it was done very much on purpose to go with the point of the song. Great reaction video.
INTELLIGENT young man
He isn't just saying his small town, he is saying ALL small towns. Doesn't matter race or religion, we take care of our own. We won't stand for the lawlessness and disrespect. We love each other and our Country. We are ALL Amercicans.
I immediately give cred to somebody in a Bass Pro Shops hat. Good reaction.
The big guy that hit the robbers is a Marine.
Wow.. wants you said it.. I heard the MJ rift.. love it . Glad you didn't hear racism from this song like some of mainstream media did... That's the gist of this song. And btw.. Chris is the Man for me right now too... I'm a country girl from way back in the day when my Pop-Pop introduced me but Chris is the one really hitting my heart right now... his voice is incredible.
The guy that stopped the robbery, was a Marine. It really happened. You can find it on CZcams.
The two with guns were from a news cast. The guy clocked the guy with a gun with a gallon of milk. 😂 .... They tried that in a small town and didn't make it far down the road.
That was a Former Marine in the liquor store that hit the dude with the gun. As a Jarhead that was a proud moment for me because we took an oath "TO DEFEND THIS COUNTRY AGAINST ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC!!!"
In small towns in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma there are plenty of small towns that may black, white, red, or brown. Yessir and Yes ma'am and excuse me gets me through every time.
I live in a small town an hour from a big city. About a hundred rioters decided they were going to come to my small town and burn it down. They were met with police officers on the top stairs of the courthouse and civilians on the bottom stairs at the, everyone carrying long guns. There were civilians positioned all over downtown protecting mom-and-pop shops the rioters assess the situation about 30 minutes and left. When it was over everyone shook hands and went home. The police did not ask anyone where all those ar's came from. They tried it it did not work out well for them
Being a person that grew up in a small town with less than 2000 people I totally agree with the lyrics! Honestly I think the problem isn’t with the song, it’s the video. If there wasn’t a video this would be just another new song 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I'm from small town we do take care of us if you are in need moms send their boys to help we work hard do not want your drama and that is simple
Great breakdown on the video!! You might want the full version though. There is a good part at the end. Also I subscribed to your channel. God Bless and keep up the great work!!
Thank you! I also commented saying the same every one skips the last10-20 seconds of the video with the farmers...
I've been binge watching people reacting to that song. You're super expressive. Thanks for doing that reaction,
I'm in a smallish town in California. When we heard BLM and antifa were coming all our people of every race lined the streets and made sure they marched on through without graffiti or fires. No broken windows. It was kinda funny because all the protesters were skinny white guys and large white women in BLM shirts. They didn't stay long once they saw our town was united. Black , white, Indian, Pakistani, Iraqi, Mexican ect.... we weren't having our families frightened by fires and any violence.
I believe all towns and cities need to unite and say hey protest ok but don't hit our elderly or children. Don't steal from us. Just keep on going unless you want a peaceful life
Jason is from Macon, Georgia
im a Jason fan since the he came out
By the way, that was Eddie Van Halen doing guitar in Michael Jackson's song "Beat It".
I love the song!
Hey man, thanks for your time and reactions. New subscriber here!
@Imdevantewarner Thanks man! You should do a blind reaction to Dirt Road Anthem. You ain't gonna see it coming. I've watched alot of reaction videos on it. Never were people not surprised 🤣🤣
the video was shot small way away from where he lives now in Maury County Courthouse in Columbia, Tennessee but he was born in Macon , Ga
YAY😢😢😢 I wondered what happened to you🙏🙏🙏🙏 I hope your friend that introduced you to Tennessee Whiskey is doing well.....React to Metal Singer Performs Amazing Grace 🙌🙌🙌 your life will never be the same 🧡🙏🧡🙏🧡🙏
That was a Marine that handled the robber of the convenience store.
The man that hit that man in the store was a Marine.
He's from Georgia however filmed in Nashville
That courthouse is in Columbia Tennessee and he is from Macon Georgia I believe.
The K NOCK OUT GAME, it was big in St Louis
The guy who got the two guys in the store was a marine.
The music video for Aldean's song “Try That in a Small Town” features the site of a Black teen's lynching in 1927. A music video by country star Jason Aldean has drawn widespread attention in part for featuring a Tennessee courthouse that is known as the site of a heinous lynching that happened a century ago.Jul 20, 2023
Jason Did Not WRITE THIS SONG. He just sang it. The song came out in May 23. No one had a problem until a production company just released the video.
He's from the outskirts of Nashville.
Great reaction!
He's just saying try that shit in ANYONES small town. Black, white, blue, orange, purple. It dont matter the race. If you are from a small town, the community will come together and guard their people and take care of shit. Big cities have a lot bigger crime rate. He is basically saying try that shit in a smaller town and see how far you get. In a small town, we unite.... all races. We have love for one another that goes deeper than our skin color. He wasn't being racist, he was being real. About ALL of us!! He is from a small town in Georgia. Much love to ALL of you here!
I'm a jason fan I'm black for ELBERTON Georgia a small town
I like your commentary... you got a new sub here
not only a small town try that shit in the hood it aint gonna end well
The court house is in his current neighborhood where he lives.
The guy who took ok the 2 armed thugs in the store was a US Marine. Two for the home team.
Just my $0.02
Have you heard Struggle Jennings - "God we need you now"? Great song. Please do a reaction.
The small town means business!
For an example of the meaning look up the gunman attack on the Townville SC Elmentary school in Oconee County. The shooter was subdued and held for police by an unarmed fireman, bwcause they got there first.
Im small town, white, alabama girl. My best friends since first grade are black. We dont see color. We see hearts and souls. We have different opinions on things but its ok to agree to disagree then compromise. We respect each other and have each others backs. We wont allow outside idiots to come into our towns to rape, burn and destroy our families, property and businesses we have worked hard for. If folks come in peace, we welcome you openly and include you. If your intententions are bad, we will stand shoulder to shoulder and fight against your bad intent and choas and we will run you out if our town real quick! That is what jason is speaking to. Hes calling out the thugs and saying dint try your crap here or we will make you wish you hadnt. Why do you think so many folks are moving out if cities to oyr small towns? They want peace, protection and a place to belong where they can raise their families without all the BS. Leftists don't want our country unified, and this song is about unity and patriotism. Well wasnt our country FOUNDED on that? This song has no racism in it. No lyrics speak to it. Its speaking against the rioting and destruction of innocent folks lives, property and businesses. Jason, his wife who was pregnant at time and band mates were blessed enough to survive the vegas mass shooting. He was performing on stage, entertaining thousands if innocent people when the shooter opened up and shot iver 1000 rounds if ammo into the crowd below. Jasons tour bus got riddled with bullet holes. So, he has good reason to speak against the insanity and inhumanity. Folks nit picking courthouse where vudeo filmed. A black guy was lynched there in 1927. Was that right? Hell no! NO lynching of ANYBODY was ok. But it happened alot back then and mostly to white people by white people, especially in the wild west. Thats history. Look it up. But not a PEEP is being said about THAT fact! So whose being racist when it comes to that? Not fair. Just be fair and present ALL historical facts, not just ones that serve a hateful agenda, then let our american people decide what they want to feel. Thats called FREEDOM. Bless you sir for your beautuful reaction! ❤❤🎉🎉
All the footage is real. The guy in the convenience store that grabbed the gun from the robber is a Marine.
Jason is for Macon Georgia
This is a protest song against AntiFa/BLM firey but mostly peaceful riots.
In a small town, community is everything.
THIS IS THE GOOGLE EDITED version of the song.
From end of song:
Farmers are dropping their own crops.
A friend is in need.
And they have come to help.
That is what this community, a lot of communites is about.
If you need some help, you will get it.
He is from a town in Georgia
Macon. GA
Love the hat
the man who jacked the gun wielding thief is a former marine from what I heard, he took the gun and got them to run out
Good ear. Only 2nd person I've seen point out the Michael Jackson beat sound.
Thank you for your commentary I think their is a positive message in all this I've been watching a lot of all you guys doing these and I really feel like y'all are starting to like our music hell I like a lot of y'all's as long as I can understand it and not dairty and stuff I dig that you do and I love Chris Stapleton to I mean who don't but thanks for what you're doing I think it is actually being all people back together witch is great you know I think about 10 years ago well probably 23 back to 911 we were one people one nation and we need to get back to that you know my daddy always told me love your fellow man woman child he didn't say but only the one's just like me he meant everyone he also said that I'm not better than anyone and no one was better than me we are all equal we are all human we all bleed red we have more in common than we don't and anyway thanks again for it together we stand dived we fall
You need to look at Brantley Gilbert one hell of an amen it’s great song.
Jason has been around quite sometime. 15-20 years
The man in the clip is a retired vet. Not jason.
If you like this, you'll like Dirt Road Anthem. Enjoyed your reaction and subscribed.
We have 3 Police Officers in Our Small Town, but 1400 Gun Owners who'll back them up, and keep our town safe.
Why would you need 1400 gun owners in a small town? Who has made you so afraid?
Look up Jason Aldean , Dirt Road Anthem song Stapleton is also great!
He’s sayin that “takin care of our business” is what WE small-town folks will do. We got nowhere to run, even if we thought about it. We got ONE grocery store. A few small businesses. Nobody wants trouble out here. But we’re the first and last line of defense, not gonna stand around watchin or recordin.
Very true my town is small also so I definitely get it 🔥
Amen!❤
He's saying white men taking care of business "good ol boys" and filmed in front of where a lynching took place? My God, you're dense!
@Imdevantewarner It's an anti violence song.
Amen
