More flutes on a tool does not weaken a tool, it makes it stronger. The more flutes you have, the more shallow the gullets of the flutes are resulting in a larger core diameter

Hi, where can i found of Milling Advisor software or similar?? i have camworks 2022

There are some tools inside CAMworks, but a lot of the tools like milling advisor are CAM agnostic so they work to provide you detailed speed and feed info but most do not have direct interfaces into your CAM software. They are readily available through the internet or frequently from the tool manufacturers themselves.

Tyler, did you ever make your 5 axis machine here www.flickr.com/photos/7589540@N08/5858389110/in/album-72157625706709547/
If so, how did it turn out?

knight2255 - unfortunately I moved and lost the real estate to fit a machine like that. I purchased quite a few parts for the project, but it never got off the ground. It was fun project to design and dream of though!
