I love this. Everyone mocks Joe for having dementia and yet here he is explaining complicated lore in a simple and concise fashion.
Yeah he genuinely gave one of the best descriptions of the lore so far that I've ever seen imo. I think his very calm way of speaking helped a lot, most people I've personally seen try to summarize the lore like this such as Dawko and Matpat tend to get very excited (which is understandable since they're both huge fans of the games) and start talking very fast which can make it hard to keep up with them
No offense to MatPat or anyone else but this brief lore video with the Presidents was far more entertaining than any other lore video I've seen, great video fellas!

Explaining Fnaf 1-3 is easy. It's where Fnaf4-6 (VR and Security breach too) that things get more complicated. That's usually where matpat comes, with most of the stuff he stated being confirmed in the fnaf lorebook.
Joe’s slow way of talking made it easy to digest everything he was saying. Matpat gives many details and is very informative, but sometimes can be a bit overwhelming with his fast pace. Joe was perfect for his audience of Obama and Trump.
I'm impressed with how much Barack and Donald are invested in the rather maze-like lore. It's always nice when friends end up liking the things you show'em, eh, Joe?
I'm surprised, considering the start was so shaky with Donald. Excited to see what they think of FNAF 4.

you gotta keep doing lore explanations for the whole series, and all the presidents need to get increasingly confused as they progress through the nightmare that is FNaF lore
At this point FNaF lore is basically fanfiction of itself
Matpat after they finish Security Breach and they explain all the lore, and sees they are mega confused: Guys trust me based on what you all just said you missed the part where there was a space pizzeria for aliens (yes I know this isn't a thing I just wanted to poke fun at how crazy FNAF is now and Matpat somehow understanding it all)

The FNAF lore is pretty simple for the first few games. Get ready for how things change in the future. Because keeping up to date with some of the lore going down the line is like trying to juggle while dozens of dangerous wild animals have been let loose around you and the balls are on fire. It's so wild

Absolutely love how Joe breaks it all down and how engaged both Barack and Donald are throughout. Amazing video.
With that being said, I think that Matpat’s idea about you playing as Purple Guy’s son in FNAF 1, FNAF 2 (Fritz, not Jeremy), FNAF 3, FNAF Sister Location, and FNAF Pizzeria Simulator makes more sense. It explains why the Animatronics are attacking you so readily (you look like their murderer and you’re wearing a security guard outfit that he once wore) and why Golden Freddy says “It’s Me” to you (you’ll understand that part a bit later).
Especially given clues pointing to it in FNAF Sister Location. Can’t wait ‘til you guys get to that one! I can already tell that FNAF 4 is likely gonna be real rough on you lol.
I think it would be cool if you showed Donald and Obama the video of the purple guys death, more specifically the blood curdling screams and crunch of bones to show how the community basically took a 8 bit death and made it sound pretty gruesome and real.
The first time I heard the audio to that I was super disturbed. I didn't think the springbuck failure was that gruesome.
I NEED THIS SERIES TO CONTINUE TO THE END!!!! A lotta of us gamers grew up on FNAF so we really like to see our Presidents experience that lore too!

Never thought I’d say this but good job Joe. However the spring lock failure that killed Purple Guy wasn’t caused by a circuit malfunction. In the training tapes of the Phone Guy that we hear in FNaF 3 we know that if the spring locks get wet, they fail. In the mini game where Purple Guy gets spring locked, we can see rain drops seeping through the ceiling. One of the drops got into the suit and Purple Guy died. Also I think you should do the next lore recap after UCN because after that the series kinda dives onto sci-fi territory with Glitchtrap, the Glamrock animatronics, the Blob, Burntrap, and the Ruin DLC as well Help Wanted 2 is just going to add to that.
I'm very excited to see how they incorporate the books lol
I love this series so much. The chemistry between the three presidents is great and the videos are always fun to watch. Can't wait for the fnaf 4 video.
Wow I actually learned more about the 3 games in these 11 minutes than in multiple separate hour long videos explaining each game.

This was a really good episode! I hope as you guys reach more milestones like for example FNaF 6, you will do a longer recap and fill in the holes that were missed by the original recap due to not having enough knowledge. (Names of souls and etc.)
This is easily the best us president channel out there, thank you for giving us all enjoyment
Now the interesting part here is that without the President's Play meme going around, I don't think I would have ever watched FNAF content but this has been surprisingly great, great job on keeping me engaged! Kudos on the editing and scripting

This video was better at explaining the lore of fnaf than MatPat did in his first theories about the games in my opinion. I really love this video and I agree with everything you explained, can't wait for the presidents to play fnaf 4.

Thank you! Ive been meaning to see a thorough gameplay because i was very interested in the game series and i love that Joe is such n expert. While i learnt a lot (binge) watching the FNAF series this videos suks it up nicely and clwared up confusion that i had.
All of the problems / potential problems I noticed (not genuine critique, just for fun because I've been pretty dedicated to these games for several years):
1. Springbonnie was never in the FNaF 2 location, only Fredbear. Springbonnie was sealed in the Safe Room of the first Freddy's location, which is also the FNaF 1 location, just renovated and reused years later. When Phone Guy talks about a Yellow Suit being used during FNaF 2, he was most likely referring to Fredbear and not Springbonnie. Springbonnie definitely was the suit used for the *original* murders though, like you said.
2. Phone Guy was definitely hired *before* FNaF 2 takes place. You can hear tapes of him in FNaF 3 talking about how to use Springlock suits safely- so he must have been hired before the Springlock suits were banned in 1985, which in itself is 2 whole years before fnaf 2's events.
3. The culprit of the Bite of '87 could only have been a Toy Animatronic, not Foxy, as they were the ones which got scrapped at the end of the game, and the Withered animatronics (including Foxy) were repurposed for FNaF 1 (as you say later in the video)
Overall, a very good effort at explaining the lore of the first 3 games, especially for what is just an elaborate shitpost video. You got a lot more right with this than I would have thought. I wish you well on your journey through the lore of FNaF 4; the original trilogy was just a warm-up. This is where things begin to get messy.
Haven’t fully finished watching it but I’m glad that there’s a lore video to at least help Donald and Obama understand it better!

I’m interested in where Joe gets his info for these theories, as far as I know, the lore theories put forward by Game Theory have been generally accepted as true, and have even received confirmation by Scott Cawthon on several occasions
Everything Joe infers here can be based solely on the information given in the first three games. He didn't use any names (other than what was given in the games), or outside information to theorize with. So if you were to play the first three games, and had only this information this is the story being told.
Scott actually said that he was completely wrong, but deleted his comment. Probably so people couldn't narrow down the storyline.
