- Pro-Palestinian protests are continuing to gain traction on college campuses. Protesters clashed with police at NYU as cops tore down a tent city. Over 100 people were arrested as police filled the streets around NYU. At Columbia University, dozens of tents are packed tightly together and conditions are becoming unsanitary. The toxic atmosphere is prompting some of Columbia University's billionaire donors to withhold their financial support. Inside Edition’s Steven Fabian has more.
As an American, you have the right to protest.
As a human, you should consider others as you do it.
Consider the audience you’re saying this to.
Put this in their perspective the protest have been ignored and the University is still funding the deaths of thousands of Palestinians. You think if it’s a matter of life and death for thousands of people making something inconvenient isn’t seen as a legal wrong but a moral right?

Same thing when I was in college. Students would sign up to be bussed to protests for the far-left cause of the day. They would come back with stories of being pepper sprayed and hosed by riot police with their chests puffed up and pride in their voices. Then politics would go on as usual with no change.

I don't understand why people wouldn't want peace. These protests don't really seem to be doing anything. Don't get me wrong, they're important and people should be able to express what they're passionate about but when it starts getting violent I don't understand why people wouldn't just stop. Also, I don't understand how wanting a ceasfire in order to protect innocent Palestinian lives is considered "anti-Semitic".

I spent more than 12 hours reporting from the Gaza Solidarity Occupation at USC today. I didn’t see any antisemitism. What I did see was militarized police arrest pro-Palestinian students who were peacefully protesting. The convo about safety on campus is backwards.
