There's currently a known issue which is randomly sending some people back to the pits once the leader crosses the line. It looks like both 2nd and 3rd place got sent back to the pits which means you then finished in 2nd.
It's annoying and it happened to me at the end of the 2.4 hour special event on the weekend! Hopefully it can be fixed soon.
I was the corvette behind you that race. Sorry for the very sloppy driving from me. I was still figuring the game and car out and wasn't really comfortable yet. Great racing though thanks for that. Didn't have a chance to say in the game chat when it ended.

@@davecamytI was kind of just half committed everytime I tried for a move because I'm terrible around Monza with side by side. Good to know my constant looking and flashing kept you cautious though it let me keep up better.

glad youre doing content here - I love this game tbh. It jus tneeds polish, tracks and the 2024 gt3 lineup and some more races to join so i dont have to wait that long between gte races :)
It's insane being able to slide a car on purpose and drive out of it. I say 10 times a race "I would've died there in iracing"
The daily/weekly race format reminds me on Gran Turismo Sport. I love it
That lockup at 3:55 and the aww shit after, thats what racing is all about! I love it! Also daily reminder to everyone: turn off autoblip and autolift. It will change your life

I was rooting for the Corvette. Nice to see you both race clean. However, I can’t tell if everyone in rF2 LMU races this clean, or if it’s just your races that are clean.
I think I’m gonna pick this game up when I’ve got the extra dollars. Seems like it would be fun to race.
I think it is taking .25 of a point for off tracks etc and is doing the calculation and placing cars in the finish positions as per points. Not sure.
theres a glitch that will DNF you and knock you to the back of whatever lap you were on in results when the leader finishes the race. I has happened to me 3 times , 1 being the 2 hour GTE enduro :D
Don't know what it is about LMU Monza but it's been so much fun, I have never liked driving Monza online
the smoke is indeed too exaggerated in LMU at the moment, I've had the same issue on Sebring this afternoon. Guy locked up and couldn't see him so went straight into him. Let's hope they fix this :D
The track limits are pretty... interesting.
Especially the Parabolica, whenever I would give the inside kerb the slightest touch with one tyre, I'd just get a warning.

It was a 16min race, Racelabs seems to add the pre-race time to the total time, you had 2:30 done already at the green flag. Thank you for driving the Aston, my favourite car and yet it's an endangered beast here amongst the ferrari meta in GTE and hypercar.

@@davecamyt it these are anything like rf2 the BOP is fine it's that the setups kinda suck from car to car and takes a bit of tweaking. I managed to get the Porsche on Ferrari pace a fuji with some tweaks
Racelabs does it for RF2 also. Seems ro add 2 minutes to every race

Not sure if they've been BOP'd correctly as the Aston feels great but has no pace, can't live with the Ferraris and Porsche around Monza when I was in GTE Fixed

Are you using the built-in spotter? Today I totally had a blind spot, someone was slightly on the inside the spotter didn't say anything, even though I have triple I didn't see him. The right mirror is covered by those stripes...Thanks for the stream!

I knew it was Dave in that Aston but that's not why I took it careful. I was still learning the car and game so I wasn't really comfortable battling hard.
How do you access replays? i cant find them anywhere? also how do you get crew cheif working?
What game option do you pick crew chief to work, no le mans option?
Do you think the handerling is as good as iracing ? Because I'm not keen on any sim apart from iracing
People are making moves that I'm not used to seeing in this sim. That guy had three better spots to wait and easily take you. I had a guy dive bomb me at the last corner at fuji for some reason. Dude took himself out when all he had to do was wait and take me on that super long straight. It must be people that hotlapped rfactor 2. They are quick but have no racecraft at all.

How are you getting Crew Chief to make calls for you? I am sure it is an easy fix just not sure where to start. I started my LMU journey last night, really good so far, really need LFE support though.
