I generally hate this kind of bag but what can I say… your idea of using fax fur is so fun and cute, will most definitely do one for my daughter for this Christmas. Thanks once more.
Thank for this series. I'm always happy when you share other producers products as patterns. It gives us "newbies" additional resources we know we can be comfortable using!
Ok Nicole, I'm officially blaming you for turning me onto Zipper Valley.. It's an hour's drive from me and I have been going crazy ordering stuff from them- Picked up not one but two orders today.! I love this pattern and definitely will make some for gifts! Thanks so very much!
Thank you Nicole, you are so lovely. I am always amused though when I see or hear the term ‘Fanny pack’. We call it a bum bag in the UK which probably amuses you guys over in the U.S. BUT Fanny means something totally different here. 😂😂😂
Thanks for showcasing our Sallie Tomato pattern! We love Jess’s Fifth Avenue fanny pack/crossbody bag. Your fabric choices are great. The instructions for the zippers are (1) 11” for top zipper closure and the option of (1) cut of 7” for interior zipper pocket
That is adorable 🥰 and definitely has yeti vibes 😂 I have a small piece of black fur and haven’t known what to do with it, so thank you for the inspiration ❤
Can you tell me again where you got your cork labels from Etsy? I rewound it twice and tried to catch it, but you said it too fast. Really like your labels.
@@SewGnar I have misplaced the pattern and can’t find it in my files, it’s around here. Thanks , so far it has gone together well. Just the tabs . I’ll just make a longer strap. The one i have might be too short. I’m making mine in vinyl. I want to make more of your 12 days
@@daliciapenny524I would email Sallie tomato and ask since it’s her pattern! I don’t know off hand. If it’s for you, measure how much webbing you’d need for it to fit.
@@SewGnarI made it yesterday and just used 38’ of webbing. It is not for me but figured 38” should not hurt. I used your video and I also added a zipper pocket in the inside. I should have not topstitched the top part because it made it flat. It is still cute though. Thanks for the video.
I just clicked the link in the description box and it took me directly to the form that says “download the free pattern”.. I’m not sure what your screens are saying. You can also try googling “Sallie tomato fifth Avenue bag” and follow those links.
@@SewGnar Yes, I had gotten that far then it takes you to the kit for the bag that says sold out. Tried to find it in her freebies but it wasn’t there. It’s all good though because I’m going to make some of you other amazing projects! Thank you again!

that would go perfectly with my furry white boots! so cute!
Sounds like you need to make one of these!
After watching this I will definitely not use the faux fur, but I will do this pattern with an interior pocket. Thanks again Nicole!
You’re welcome 😊
Oh boy that fur! What an ordeal! Thanks for the video tho, great project.
lol yeah it got everywhere!
Oooooh it's so cute! 🥰 IT'S SO FLUFFY!!

So darn cute I just bought Sherpa fur just like that to make my granddaughter a bag paid $4 in the scrap bin at Joanns
Perfect!!
Thank you for this tutorial . I made this bag over he summer and it was such an easy make. I plan to make more soon.
Wonderful!
So cute!! I did the Louie bag in sherpa on the front and gusset then I did the back and wing connecters in vinyl. Came out so cute.
Great idea!! I bet it’s adorable

I plan on making several in cork, can’t stray too far from what I know best!
So cute! Thanks!
No problem 😊
Thank you for all your hard work putting this 12 days of Christmas series for us.

Alex is the best so it’s worth it!!!
Enjoying your 12 days of Christmas 🎄….hard to believe there are only 2 days left! ❤️
I know!!
I’ve enjoyed your 12 days of Christmas videos. Today’s gave me a few ideas using the fun fur to add to my market. Thanks
You are so welcome!
It's a bit like making baby quilts out of Minky and Cuddle right!?! LOL but usually worth it in the end.
Hahaha YES! Such a pain in the butt, but truly so worth it in the end.
ADORABLE!!! Love the materials you chose.
Thank you! Cheers!

Oh we know it’s meaning 😅😅
I see what you are doing, the outside is stitched all around, sew the lining bottom seam separate, not catch the outside

Be sure to post in the Facebook group so we can see your black fur bag!!
@SewGnar it'll be after Christmas I think. Still have some festive makes to make 🙈 and there's not enough weeks in one day! 🤣
Such a cute bag. I love your fabric/fur choice! ❤
Thank you! 😊
I’ve watched this several times, I know you had problems with bottom gap .
Thank you, love the fur 😊 what model Juki machine are you using ?
Juki tl2010q!
Can you tell me more about the Tex45 thread you mentioned in the video? Is it polyester? Where do you get it?
I bought it from Wawak, it’s Amann brand! Not sure if the makeup of it but I believe it is poly

I’ve misplaced my pattern, what is the length of the strap? I’ve got it started but not finished. Thanks
You’d have to check the pattern itself, this isn’t my pattern so I don’t know off hand!

What is the length of the webbing?
I don’t remember but I’m sure she tells you in the pattern!
@@SewGnarit says 1 1/2 yards and I know it’s not going to that long. The pattern didn’t mention the length for the zipper either.
