    This multidisciplinary presentation is provided by contributors of the United States IDDSI Reference Groups (Resources and Best Practices, Education and Training, Research and Data Collection). This panel is among those that have developed US-specific resources, answered frequently asked questions, gathered International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI)-related literature, and implemented IDDSI in their own various settings. The purpose of this panel is to systematically support IDDSI implementation by uniting literature and clinical expertise. Specifically, literature-supported processes that can facilitate successful implementation including equipment and materials, mapping of current menus, and how to overcome food preparation challenges will be reviewed. Panelists will also share their experiences with administrative buy-in, food service, staff education, and more. This will be an interactive presentation.
    Learning Outcome(s):
    - Identify barriers and facilitators of IDDSI implementation in their clinical setting
    - Discuss facilitation of the continuum of menu preparation and service for IDDSI levels in their clinical setting
    - Identify key team members for IDDSI implementation in their clinical setting
