I’m glad someone requested, you showing us this multiple pocket piece. Yours are beautiful with the pretty papers you used. Looking forward to seeing your updated work space. Glad you survived all the work that went into it. BTW, our kids only trampled through snow for trick or treating once in Coeur d’ Alene back in the early 90s. Our weather along the southern coast of Maine was perfect and in the 60s, so hubby and I went kayaking at our close by pond, Runaround. It was fun. Have a grand week organizing the rest of your supplies.

Our leaves are almost all down. Another week or so and we'll be back to another phase of life in the Appalachians; the winter one. It's hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner. Amazing you are getting snow. It reminds me of living in Alaska and Michigan.
Saturday we spent the day South around the Lancasrer area. It was a beautiful day for an afternoon drive and the autumn tree colors were at their peak along the way. It was a great year for colors; very vivid. So, we went on a covered bridge tour. Pennsylvania has over 200 covered bridges and we saw only about 5 of them. They were glorious! And the places they were at was something out of a Hallmark movie. PA has some very beautiful farms, especially around the Lancaster area. It really added to the uniqueness of the bridges. It was such a very lovely day.

These are wonderful. My oldest daughter in Maine asked me for a very pretty, feminine, romantic Victorian Christmas journal for her Christmas gift, before Christmas. This is a wonderful idea because she told me she wants one all tricked out with hidden messages, and fun surprises. I was very surprised because my girl is more Comicon, Superhero, Marvel world, type of person, so the idea of the flowers and lace and smiling children and jolly old time Santas just seems so foreign to how she is most of the time. I have crafted with and for my younger daughter that I live with, but I have always just sent my eldest one money so she can use it for the crafting and art she does. I am somewhat flattered that she asked because she is an artist that is beyond talented. Now I have to figure out if I will do a soft cover one signature book or a three-signature hard cover book.
I am so grateful that you are posting such great videos. I have a head start on everything because you have inspired me to jump in and make my own digitals and college with my scraps. I have even managed to make a few of my ugly old scrapbook papers I had been gifted into stuff I have used. And just to let you know. In August I attended a belly dance retreat with 16 other women from all over the U.S. and one from Canada. I made 18 of the single signature journals and used all kinds of stuff I learned from you, and even included some copies of my original belly dance and southwest art in them. There was punching, stenciling, stamping, inking. Each followed a guideline, but everyone was unique and different. And because I had been with many of these women before on this retreat, some of them even had some photos of them at other retreats, or their pets. And I tried to do them slightly personalized. Everyone went crazy for them, and here it is October, and I am still having a few tell me how much they love them. I am sharing the praise and thank you with you because you inspire me.

My husband looks at me like I'm crazy but I love it. He shakes his head and says "you two are so alike". I have my laptop today so thought I'd leave a comment. Thanks for the revisit on these pockets. I have used them in a journal once. Need to remember to use more often. Gayle it is ok to talk to yourself and ok to argue with yourself. It’s when you lose arguments with yourself you need to be worried. 😂 I didn’t realize you had that much snow. Yesterday it was warm enough here in central Nebraska that a garden snake snuck into my house! My grandson came and removed the bugger for me. Ugh! Can’t wait to see more of the Christmas journals! I might have to try these pockets for the small journal that I’m making right now. It’s three signatures hardback book but it’s a smaller size than I normally do that’s why I’m ending up with so many strips having to cut my papers. I did a four hole pamphlet stitch which I’ve never done before because I wanted the title of the book to show, it was actually very easy because you don’t have to go through one hole more than once so there’s no trying to wiggle your needle in and not split the thread. I’m going to cover up the stitches on the outside with I don’t know what, lace or fabric, something. I always struggle with covers it’s the last thing I think of. It’s just a general eclectic mix of Christmas. My stolen mailbox neighborhood saga is finally resolved, I have a mailbox I can get into with keys that work on a different street than my old mailbox but hey at least I can get my mail and I got my fabric from Diane at Under the Big Sky Designs so that’ll be my next Christmas journal.

These are great pockets! I know your usually upstairs in the evenings but I saw a thing online the other day and thought of you. The people had put a strip of led lights in the basement window well so on dreary days or evenings. It really brightened up the basement. It was amazing how much it changed the lighting. I also think we need a re visit of some of Chelle from rambling crafter cool paper clips. I know one of your ephemera idea books is from her and I seem to remember a lot of different ones that I would really enjoy revisiting.

Where do you get your cap with beads to close your glue bottle? I just use the pins but sometimes they are so hard to see when you drop them or while laying on the desk.

No you’re not cray cray talking to yourself all day and yes we talk back to you. I don’t know how you do it talking while crafting I tried while I was just sitting at my desk crafting to see if I could do it and I can’t seem to do it. Sometimes you can’t shut me up but basically I’m not a big talker and I just couldn’t seem to talk and craft at the same time, like I can’t watch a video and craft at the same time either. When I worked I had to have silence while I worked too, it drove me crazy with other peoples radios going and their phone conversations. I don’t know, just a thing I guess. I should have my friend do voice overs because she cannot stop talking. 😂
Lol, I tried to talk through a video like Gayle does and all I did was sit there and laugh, because I couldn’t do it. 😂CharsCraftyShop.
