Illapel is a city in Chile located in the Coquimbo Region. It is the capital of the Province of Choapa.
This town is known as the “Land of Gold and Sun” for the intimate relationship of its inhabitants with mining and for the large number of days that each year its skies are clear.

beautiful, i used to live there in 97 to 98, with the Peace Corps and UNIDES ngo, working on disaster relief project, Casa de adobe anti simimica, sadly i lost contact with all my friends, i live in Belize now, would love to make contact and return to visit some day, thanx for the great video, amor y paz
